    Got to love the reply. A 1st, 2 players who were drafted in the 1st and then add something.... yet he says he doesn't think thr price will be too high. 3 1sts is pretty high

    Kent made his offer, it’s got the most pieces moving across the table for Columbus. The talk is a 2nd round pick, a roster player D, and two AHL players have been targeted. There’s the old adage that you don’t accept the first offer and that’s where we’re at right now. Kent plays a good game, he’s played the game of patience and told several GM’s; we don’t need to, but here’s our offer. This is the reason why Montreal will come out on top with this rebuild, the right people aren’t making knee jerk decisions. He’s landing in Montreal because the right decision will have been made based around the right pieces for both teams.

    Neither Montreal nor Toronto would work for him, the media would eat him alive and he'd be back in rehab sooner rather than later.

    I think Winnipeg should be trying
    Laine said he would lile to play here and didnt mind living here. Unlike Montreal we had him prior understand his dad passed/Wheeler is gone. His old roomate/freind Ehlers is still here. A 2nd line of Laine Lambert Ehlers will help Lambert who is also finnish and shelter him. I feel Montreal fans will expect him be 1st liner or the French and if he eases back starts on 3rd line in winnipeg with Lowry/Neidereitter he will have time.
    Guys would 100% need to be part of a deal is Iafallo/Pionk for cap reasons+Mcgroarty at minimum a deal that makes sense to me is
    Winnipeg Trades
    Mcgroarty+Pionk+Perfetti
    For
    Laine+Jiricek or Mataychuk and a pick.
    Perfetti hasnt signed yet he has top 6 potential but has been scratched/on 4th line not trusted hes only 4yrs younger laine. And we have Lambert,Chibrikov,Barlow likely make team in next year or 2. We been lacking defence and that 2nd line center hopefully Lambert turns into.
    *Mataychuk is 20 played U20s,is from Winnipeg.
    -another player Severson from brandon manitoba established NHLer.
    Montreals offers are going to be less they wont offer a Perfetti/Mcgroarty type/both,they wont offer a middle 6 like Iafallo comparable Armia/Anderson. Or a NHL dman like Pionk who lacks defence but still puts up 30-40pts.Jets could throw in with log jam Rashevsky,Kupari,AJF,Wagner,Ford. Even if you replace Perfetti with Lucius its still alot more then other teams woudl offer.
    *Montreal will want move Harris or Barron. B/C prospects since Reinbacher,Maillioux,Hutson,Xhekaj,Demidov,Fowler ect are untouchables.

    Ok..Someone go to 8:47 and tell me wtf this closing line is supposed to be?
    "vshreshshhnineniine" isnt a word, and yet he says it every day.
    Seriously, slow it down to .5 and you tell me.

    The habs do not need a guy that is a problem bringing the team down . I can’t see any team giving much to get him in fact I think Columbus will have to give up something so a team will take him off their hands

    • @KenSvazas
      @KenSvazas 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They will get something for him for sure. To be fair MTL has the cap room with Price LTIR and he only has two years left so if Columbus took some of the contract and the price was not that high it could work out. He wouldn’t be stealing playing time from anyone really and maybe Armia or Anderson also goes to make room as well. Was Anderson in Columbus if I remember correctly?

    I honestly don't think he'd be in the right place to succeed in Montreal and I honestly think that there are other teams that could use his goal scoring ability since the habs already have caufield and plenty of prospects

    • @R376yt
      @R376yt 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      And the Jackets needs don't fit what Montreal really has as far as defenseman and the stress he would be put under and returning to a Canadian market 8 think would be bad for him.

      @@KenSvazas 🤦🏻, there will always be a certain amount of tax paid, but there are ways to make sure you aren’t paying as much. Thanks for letting me know

    • @KenSvazas
      @KenSvazas 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@carycwilliams Yes there are ways… actually ways that are legal but they don’t get any big breaks or anything. It just is what it is and it is harder to sign players. The after tax amount is just a fair bit less but the cap is still the same. I am not arguing about where taxes go. Sure there are also ways to reduce taxes but there are also ways to reduce taxes in states that pay less taxes too. I am not making a societal argument of taxing high earners I am saying that it is harder to keep players because the overall tax rate is a significant amount higher. Thanks for listening.
