Those who have been embezzling public funds are the one disrespecting Nigeria. Those who rig elections are the ones disrespecting Nigeria. Leave Aisha alone. She has the right to stand or not to stand.

If that's the case we drop both anthems, and create a new one that describes us now, as suck ups.

People must stop writing old Anthem . Nigerian Anthem and that is final. Though that can't turn to food, water, housing or transport for citizens

I believe patriotism shouldn't be forced down our throats but should be from within, even many standing there were laughing and acting subdued. But when it's from within that's the spirit of Nationalism.

Is the national anthem the problems of Nigerians? Re-introducing an old anthem is a misplacement of priorities.

Why can't Nigeria thousands of professor write their anthem. These ladies are talking rubbish. We are never one.. l didn't hear what these ladies said about Mazi Nnamdi Kanu still detention while terrorists are pardoned. Nigerians such as these two women journalists with eyes and cannot see are saying we are one...we are one my foot.

Yes Nigeria is bigger than any person under it's territory, but the annoying thing here is we have got more pressing needs that is too close for comfort, let's take first step towards the reducing the surfering of the people, mind you the task payers monies was used to pay sitting allowances to the senators and the presidential movement to sign the anthem in question. Did the senators consult their constituents before doing that, or is it as an argent matter that could not wait?

It was very wrong of her. We may disagree with the president. That shouldn't make us extremists. Activism should have some touch of patriotism and sense in it.

What has colonialism got to do, with this old anthem, that made Nigeria one. This is the kind of person, that wants to lead Nigeria? There is something fundamentally wrong with people like her, all over the nation.

The government shall govern and apply the federal Republic of Nigeria Constitution in their policies. All citizens shall obey the same constitution . The welfare and security of the people shall be a priority of the government. A Nigeria where nobody is above the law. A country where no certain tribes lord over others . Every persons shall have the right to vote and be voted for in any part of the country regardless the place of birth or tribe. A country where a Christian ijaw man can become the governor of Sokoto State, a pagan Yoruba native shall be a governor of Borno State and a Muslim Fulani shall be a governor of Enugu State. Nigeria we hail thee where no ethnic card is played to appoint ministers or head of government agencies. Where there is no different cut off mark to gain admission to Nigeria universities funded by the government . Nigeria we hail thee where the government obey the court Oder . A country where judges do not issue conflicting Orders on the same matter. A country where the son of nobody become somebody. We hail thee if there is free and fair elections ,where the rule of law works. I rest my case

With no due respect, what is the better way of showing your grievance than what Aisha Yusuf did, if we Nigerians start to act the way she did, then the so called Government will know that we rejected it.
You said no Nigeria is more Nigerian than the other, yet few individuals look the decision without opinion pool and that's ok.

Who and who is patriotic in this country, The president himself is he patriotic and his cabinet members,
Refinery he promised last year December to be up and running by is words, where is it, no production sector is working in this country.
A Governor in our country slashed is salary for its state, Governor ALEX OTTI that is patriotic
The president with all the body of Government can not lead by example reducing there salaries as a contribution and a signg of patriotism, they are busy fighting for increment while minimum wage has been an issue to be solved for ages.
ITS NATIONAL ANTHEM THE NEXT PRIORITY HYPOCRISY OF ITS HIGHEST LEVEL WHAT A FAILED COUNTRY.
