The way our team is building now, I believe we have a chance. Our defense is getting stronger. We just landed Derrick Harmon yesterday. This is the reason why I know we have a chance this year. I don’t care what haters say about them underachieving. People who compare them from the past are stupid. Coach Lanning and coaching staff are recruiting in a different levels. Oregon will be scary good this season.🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆
@whatlol_e Seriously? Oregon was average for years then Phil Knight from Nike came in and paid for everything. Which brought in recruits from around the country. He's doing it again.
Part of the criticism Bo got for short throws is exactly what your talking about, if a defense is willing to let the ducks dink and dunk down the field while creating 1 on 1 matchups in space at a 5-7 yard clip, against the ducks, that's a weakness. When defense over compensates, over the top passes, and gut punches up the middle result
I agree. That is literally Steins philosophy. Create 1 on 1 match ups and let us prove we have better athletes in open space. Tom Brady threw short throws very very often and he has 7 super bowls. In my opinion, Bo nix is going to thrive in the NFL.
The offense, emphasizes yards after catch. But they also averaged over 200 yds rushing a game. Bos ability to recognize the weaknesses in defenses, was key. And i have never seen such a loaded reciever room.
We gonna have a great season I know if we don’t make the playoffs it’s considered a let down. But we aren’t building just for this season we are building for the next 5-10 seasons
Biggest diff. Between Bo and Gabriel? Alot more read option runs this year. Bo was protecting himself for the draft in a sense of the play calling, and when they did do options, he still handed of even if it wasn't the right read. Oregon's tradition of running hawaiians, Masoli, Mariota, now Gabriel.
No he wasn't. The ducks had the personnel and intentionally shifted the scheme to less QB runs.... It's just the kind of weapons and scheme they have... Bo's injury in 2022 derailed their season. But he wasn't protecting himself That was a conscious decision by the ducks coaching staff.
@@WangHungLo ok so they lost 2 games to your huskies by a total of 6 points, Oregon should've won both games, but didn't, your Deboer hightailed out to Bama, while Lanning stayed to build something special at Oregon, I guarantee you that Oregon will clobber the huskies year after year, enjoy those 2 wins this year, cause that's the only wins you'll have
Don't people ever get tired of making all these great expectations for Oregon? The programs always seem to disappoint in the big games. The only consistent Oregon Duck theme.
Oregon has been to the national championship a couple times now in the last 15 years. Lots of PAC-12 Championships/appearances. You think Oregon failed expectations because the only team they lost to was the #2 team in the country last season? Not really sure what you're talking about here. The last time Oregon played Ohio State, Oregon won. The last time Oregon played Michigan, Oregon won. The last time Oregon played Wisconsin, they won. It goes on and on. Remember when Oregon beat undefeated FSU? You don't know what you're talking about.
Wow, you are bragging about Oregon and all them yards they got but what have they won? Not a damn thing so keep bragging and you will see again not a damn thing.
The only reason Oregon wasn't in the national championship last season is because they couldn't beat Washington. If they held onto their lead in the PAC-12 Championship, Oregon would have been facing off against Michigan.
That whole argument has gotta be the dumbest thing ever in college sports seeing how teams change so much every year to be Al,lost unrecognizable from year to year… does Alabama winning a championship a few years ago have anything to do with the Alabama team this year? Heck no. Don’t be an idiot pal
@jayminbernhardt4952 I've got two buddies who are Bama fans. They think Alabama isn't going to miss a beat. They're saying National Title. Personally, I think they're delusional.

OU fans will be rooting for oregon to succeed this year. that tells you the kind of dude DG is. he deserves a big year from oregon
We’ll take good care of him :)
The lefty QB has an advantage period
If this team doesn’t win it all this year I give up I really do Go Ducks🦆
PROGRUM.
How many millions in NIL are going to this "college" team? That's why Oregon is good. If I could buy the best players I'd look pretty smart too.
Ohio State too
That's correct. Oregon is built for NIL.
then why was oregon good before nil

With these weapons, scheme and offensive line, i would predict Dillian Gabriel to complete somewhere upwards of 74% of his passes. 🏈🦆🏈
Go Ducks🦆🦆🦆 The tightends You keep forgetting the tightends They have the best tightends in the country
literally stacked at every position

bo still averaged 10 yards a throw...but i agree fully

Lots of haters in these comments. The jealousy is crazy 😂
Let's hope he can finally see over the middle and hit wide open receivers....and not underthrow the long ball

Kansas game film don’t lie
What u talking about 😂 dude
It doesn't rain everyday in Eugene.
It never rains in Autzen stadium
It never rains at autzen, with that in mind I really enjoyed his film against Texas last year😁
It’s even better when they played Kansas
Too bad Oregon's offense couldn't roll with Bo Nix
#1 offense in the country last year lmfao not sure what you're talking about

Aren't you so special. Dawgs run is over at 3 successive wins. Oregon had a 12 game win streak against UW earlier.
Ducks win in '24. You can take that to the bank. Ducks by 20.
