    To say that الله gave Abraham a “tour” of the entire universe in his dream 😴 is ridiculous given our knowledge of the scope and immensity of the universe. Unless one has a much smaller idea of the size of the universe. Also, stars don’t “set” at all. The brightness of the sun & how light refracts through our atmosphere is what prevents us from seeing stars during the day. The sun doesn’t “set” either. The people that wrote these ayat didn’t know any of this. We do now. When you receive new information ℹ️ one should be inclined to alter their perspective to encapsulate the new information. We’re living in the 21st century taking advice from 7th century texts.

      How is it ridiculous ? If the creator can create this immense universe out of nothing, why could'nt the creator give a tour of the universe to one of his slaves ?

    • @9Khaleel7
      @9Khaleel7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@nihalabdulla7282 he could, but this guy insinuated that this took place in a dream. My understanding of the universe is that it is immensely huge. Billions of light years wide. Also, Abraham or الله gives us profound insight about the universe.

    • @garsayfsomali
      @garsayfsomali ปีที่แล้ว +3

      first of all your argument against a dream is ridiculous. second of all the verse is metaphorical as we say 'sunrise and sunset' go to a beach and watch the 'sunset'. depending on where you are on earth you will witness something different. again debunked.

    • @9Khaleel7
      @9Khaleel7 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@garsayfsomali I have no problem understanding the verses as metaphorical. The imam in the video implied it was literal. Also, we’re told about Dhu Qarnain. In that story the sun 🌞 was found to be setting in a murky pool. Are those passages metaphors , or are they literal? We’re also told that the sun ☀️ travels to its resting place and then returns by the command of الله. Metaphor or literal? Now, I believe that my epistemology helps me to discern between metaphor & literal with a greater than 50% accuracy, but how about your epistemology? Does your epistemology help you decipher between metaphor and reality?

      Let me guess you read the translation in English. Arabic is a beautiful and eloquent language. To understand the Quran you need to understand it in its purest form, Arabic.
