Jason, I've been waiting for this video for several days now. I'm also glad to see @1:54 Tool Box Buddy is making an appearance. Good stuff as always Jason!
You certainly do make it look easy. For the amount of fun and in the open air feel you get wheeling, seems like a good trade off.
I'm going to check some of those products out. Thanks for the tips!
Jason, Great Video! I use the same stuff on my vehicles and they work great. I still use WD-40 for my underneath and i still use furniture polish on my tires. I have been using that since i have had my driver's License. I enjoy all your video's! Thanks for all the time you spent making them sir!!
Man Jason the Jeep looks so cool with the half doors and the top I’ve never been a huge fan of the slant back look you are rockin it dude! Keep it up jeep is quite the rig. Been watching since it was a stock fenderlsss jeep with 37 bfgs
Another great video. I love the laid back style and honesty that comes through every time. Thanks for sharing.
Awsome cleanup and love the tips. I actually followed your lead using the airhose from on of your previous videos of cleaning the interior and it has been a great tip.
Hey I do like lucas slick mist spray wax but I am really fond of the Maguire's interior detailer for the fact that it leaves zero film or residue and especially on matte surfaces they stay matte without any sheen.
Always get excited when I get a notification of an autoedit video
Cheers my friend
Started using pledge after you suggested it and found I like it more than most tire dressings. Less messy too.
Your amazing personality and humor drew me in I will definitely be keeping up with your channel. Best wishes
Jason, you put me a big smile on my face when I saw Evel Knievel dude in your glovebox. You nailed it!
YESSSSSS! Finally a detailing video! Have been waiting for this a long time now!
Always dig your vids mate! Somethings I try to remember after a good wheeling trip is to clear out the engine air filter, cabin air filters, and retorque my beadlocks. Keep up the great content!
Those are great suggestions... I didn't really mention any of the after mechanicals in this one. Thanks!
And of course fluid check before/after.
Thanks again for all your hard work with the high quality videos Jason!
Just watched this video again. I like your cleaning style. I ordered a couple of the Lucas products from your storefront. Excited to give them a whirl! Keep up the good videos.
Another great video! I always buy from your Amazon list. Thank you for all the good tips!
I still have my Evel Knievel toy from the mid 70’s. It’s in a box in my parents basement.
Love your positivity and enthusiasm 👍 Some seat covers are definitely in order
Love your channel so much, it's so useful to take care my Jeep and practice my poor english. I like your "spirit animal" and sincerely love your dog.
Regards from Bogotá.
I'm really happy you are here and willing to practice English with you anytime!
Love watching your videos, I am going to look into the Amazon store. I have started to use the Tool Buddy for the undercarriage on my JKU and I love it. My vote goes to Bartact Seat Covers too. My daughter lunch box was leaking her chocolate milk on the way to school and I did not notice it until we got there and it did not stain the seat cover and all I did was wipe it out with a couple of napkins, I would buy them again and they fit like a glove.
I used to detail vehicles for a living, yet I'm still going to watch this video because you made it.
There will always be overlap when cleaning dust, but I would vacuum everything first, then blow all the nooks and cracks, then vacuum again.
Great video! I have got to get some of that TB BuddyI
I commented in the previous video, and I agree with another viewer, you cannot go wrong with Bartact covers.
I've seen the Katzkin covers and they look nice too. Brad, on his Trail Recon channel, installed them as well. He has a video if you're curious.
Anyway, your videos are awesome man! Always dig the content!
Thanks for this video!! I just bought a used JKU and really needed a reference to get her cleaned to my standard!
I use my wrangler to deliver mail on 130 miles of dirt roads. So as you could imagine it gets extremely messy. We are taking it with us on vacation so I need to clean it. Trying to find the best way to do that 😂
Watching this has me realizing how dirty my jeep is
Mine stays dirty because I'm always wheeling with the top and windows down
Check out 303 cleaner, protectant, and fabric guard for top and interior maintenance. The best I've used as an old school autobody painter/detailer of cars, boats and planes. Fabric guard I keep in a one gallon weed sprayer to waterproof seats, coats, boots, hats and camping gear. The protectant is not greasy at all. I spray it on the engine bay after cleaning and just leave it most of the time.
Interior foam cleaner and a medium firmness brush works really good for me on the interior. As well as a vacuum
I purchased a $14 Foam cannon off of Amazon, I will never go back!! also, i use a high powered leaf blower (118 mph) on my interior, carpets, dash and seats. Same theory different application!! reat vid, great channel!
@@AutoEdits I use the Ego 58V blower to dry the Jeep. It works great for blowing water out of the nooks and crannies.
I recommend bartact seat covers there really high quality and clean up very easily
I love my bartact seat covers. I have a brief walk around on my jeep on my channel. What doors are those?
Here's another vote for Bartact. Love mine. I have even tossed them in the washing machine
Jose Ortiz I LOVE my Bartact seat covers. Way, way better than cover kings. I have had mine for over 4years and they still look and fit like new. Hands down the best seat covers.
Great video Jason. When I was in the convertible sports card scene many years ago we used 303 protectant for the interior plastic. The stuff is actually for boats, but works great for those sun baked auto areas. In continue to use on my DDs. You can buy on Amazon, or your local
Marine supply place, and even at Camping World if you have one in the area. Good luck..
Thanks for the suggestion... I've heard of that stuff and have yet to try it!
I just ordered a bottle of the slick mist from your Amazon store. Can’t wait to try it out.
Great tips! Thanks for sharing Jason! 👍 edit: oh and for the seats I've found one of those steam clears works a treat! One the ones with the wand bit.
What a great tip thanks. I also have a black cross over and after washing and drying I get the water from inside the mirrors running down the doors and leaving a trail of watermarks.
EVEL! Had mine for over 40 years. It still worked fine when I sold it.
I used pledge on a my Crew Cab F-350 and drove to a show 'n shine. Took 2nd place in its class. Tryed Lucas tire shine and it has the same look as the pledge. Clean and not glossy. Cool stuff, glad to have seen the product here first.
I started using F11 on my jeep and 2019 Camry, Paint shine and protects very nice.
I used Alt and F4 on my 2001 Corolla, but it’s gone now. Maybe I’ll try F11 on the Jeep.
I wouldn’t say I’m advanced at all but I do like to keep my Jeep clean and a foam cannon is a lot of fun!
Dawn dish washing liquid in water is awesome for general exterior washing.
I ordered the interior mist from your Amazon store. Like bubble gum and it works well! I actually put some on my jk plastic fenders and it worked well! Thanks for the tip man!
Dude! Thanks so much... the tire dressing and trim shine is actually the greatest for all that stuff... used it on my door handles, mirrors, everything rubber or plastic outside the jeep!
These videos actually help so much. My car had dirt in almost every crack
Thanks for your videos Jason!
Bought the detail kit. Thanks for the video and the heads up on the products!
Always looking for something new to keep her clean(er). Good job as always, chief.
Awesome video sir I have a black Jeep Wrangler Rubicon I need all the tips I can get far as cleaning it ❤️👍
Awesome video as always!
Looks great! All good tips, I’m still very much an ole school kind of cleaner, windex for all interior surfaces, various paint brushes and tooth brush for dusting, and pledge for tires, lol! Maybe time to drag my ass out of the Stone Age!👍🏻👍🏻❤️
I used to do that on the interior but the purpose designed interior detailer is much better, by a lot.
Picked up the Lucas kit and micro fiber towels from your Amazon store site. Wanted to support you in thanks for the outstanding videos 👍
When mine gets very dusty, I actually use a gas powered leaf blower to start. This dislodges the dust and blows it completely out of the Jeep. Then use the compressor for the nooks and crannies. Ordered some Slick Mist from your Amazon link.
Excoted to try Lucas, just ordered them from ur front store. thanks for showing us!
Love the vids Jeepin’ Jason🤙🏼
Definitely the PRP leather seat covers 💺 they are pricey, but definitely the sexiest ones I’ve seen 🤟🏼
RuffTuff seat covers! Got the Cabela's branded ones in my '06 2500 Dodge & really like them. Made in Utah I believe.
Great job at gettin it cityfied haha, I still use the pledge because of you I think it works great! Keep up the great work!
@@AutoEdits I gotta say I really like that you still take the time to go and reply to your comments that you get, that really shows your character! I appreciate it man even if it's just a simple gesture! Keep doing what you do sir, I really like the content!
To a jeeper, every jeep is a show vehicle no matter how clean or dirty it is.
Always great videos from you. It's hard to believe you dont have a whole production crew working behind the scenes.
I love using Lucas Oil stuff for the drivetrain. Might have to give the cleaning products a try.
Those look like great products! I personally have used chemical guys products and really like them. I used to have to purchase on amazon but now they are sold at most auto parts stores
Evel Knievel was my hero! I still have the wind up motorcycle and action figure. Hopefully you don’t have any meaningful conversations with yours while you drive around. Not that theirs anything wrong with that.
Great job on the clean up. I definitely don’t have the patience to do a job that good. Wish I did.
I like the prp seat covers. You can have them custom colors and piping done to them
Trek Armor makes some awesome seat covers. Also I Hit up your Amazon store and purchased the JW speaker fog lights. I have the J2 series headlights and love them especially in the winters in Alaska where there is only about 4 hours of true daylight. So Thank You! Also if you are ever interested in wheeling in Alaska let us know and I'll get our club together to plan some runs! You are awesome!!
So I just learned the correct way to close my Sunrider top... (latch both THEN pull both, not one at a time)
I like using armor all tire foam protectant it cleans them really well and just makes the tires look new
I’m going to order the Lucas stuff. I’ve been using Lucas in my class 8 diesels for years. Besides we all have a Jeep habit to support! 😆
AutoEdits amazing. 20 years and I love it. But it’s time to go home and play with raindrop (my jku). Also seriously considering MetalCloak game changer suspension. Your Awesome video on that helped me make that decision. Thx again
I’ve been using the Lucas Tire cleaner and really like it. So I bought the cleaning kit from your amazon store. Never thought about using my compressor to blow out debris. I was like, well duh!
Jason, I use Chemical Guys Fabric Clean. This is amazing at getting mud/dirt out of the fabric of my seats and carpet.
My Wet Okole seat covers weren’t inexpensive, but have worked well on my two door soft top. I have a Spiderweb Shade installed under my soft top and it does a great job of blocking direct sun when the top is off or flipped back.
i’ve been here for a while so i definitely remember the pledge wheels!! haha
Jason, I picked up Tool Box buddy from your last video cleaning the Ram truck. Seems to work well for wiping down the underside of my Wrangler.
Great videos
For the seats, before you get some new covers, I'd used a extractor (you can rent one at your local hardware store) and deep clean them. Should take all the dirt out. And is quite the site to see.
i’ve been detailing cars for 5 years, from my experience i would recommend the turtle wax wash you used in this video, gives an awesome shine for low cost
They also make the best spray wax on the market. They beat F11 and all the $60 bottle spray waxes. I mix their spray wax and spray sealant together.
I would buy a Kranzle pressure washer. I would also go with Adams car products or Chemical guys. Definitely understand that hard water. Living in the Santa Clarita Valley, water softener or deionizer is a must. Great Jeep.
Nice, im gonna buy that interior detail
just can't get away from good'ol fashioned elbow grease, no matter what you do. I think for the initial blow out of the interior, an electric leaf blower might do the trick? Jeep looks awesome dude, nice job.
Hey Jason, I’m curious how long you typically spend cleaning your Jeep after each trip?
This took about 4 hours but shooting video ads a bit of time to that as well.
Amazing lol I live on a dirt road so about 10 to 20 miles everyday on dirt my jeep lives so yea my jeep is a true off broader I guess lol always dirty, but for my situation those brands keep it nice maybe a week out of a month lol, that being said I have not wheeled her as hard as u have, so your channel is way benefits my jeep
I had the very last version of the Evel Knievel doll. He came with a broken whiskey bottle and came with ‘back-hand your domestic partner’ action chop.....Policeman Ken had to throw him out of the dollhouse when Nurse Barbie cut off his “ medicine “ supply.
Rad video!
You should switch out your interior to a Amorlite replacement floor and throw away the floor mats. They're so much easier to clean.
And now you can come over & do mine, since you are so good at it. 😉
Man I wish I watched this before doing my big clean due to my two week utah/colorado trip. My junk was nasty!
Not sure if available in USA but i use Black Duck seat covers. Waterproof, dustproof and almost kid proof.
Great video, before i even watch the video 😂😂
@@AutoEdits anytime my man! And if you want leather ones wrangler.leatherseats.com/ is the place to go hands down
I'm rounding out my first year as a jeep wrangler owner... Holy mother of God, the dust, and crust!
@@AutoEdits as for the detal brushes, I've had luck with dollar store paint brushes and dollar store make up brushes. The best part of buying the latter (as a guy) is the look the cashier gives me.
I love your videos! I have just purchased my 1st jeep and I am using the products you are recommending. What do you recommend for the water spots that are left at the end of your wash and dry?
Howdy and congrats on your new Jeep! I use that Lucas Speed Wax on water spots but if they are very stubborn... use a rubbing compound or "car cleaner" style wax. Enjoy!
Don’t forget the cabin air filter behind the glove box, a lot of people don’t know there is one or check it.
Good suggestion. During the last wheeling trip before this video, I experimented and left the A/C off and vents closed and the cabin filter was pristine after the trip!
Mmmm 6 but im far so i have an excuse (quebec canada) great vid im using bunch of product because of you 😊
Loved the video Jason. Pinto the dog is always an awesome plus. Long live pinto!!! Quick question brother. What wheels are those? Are they light? And did you do the tail light giveaway yet? Love the channel and keep the content coming.
Please watch the install video on those wheels th-cam.com/video/VIQOF6n1-bg/w-d-xo.html
Hey Jason , I'm like you, it takes me about 3 to 4 hours to clean my TJ after hitting the trails . I will have to try the Lucas products. I have always been a Mothers product user , but I'm up to try something different . I was going to buy the F11 , but its pretty pricey . Until next time take care and belly rubs to Pinto from me .
Jason, what do you use for stuff like the rubber door trim? One of the Lucas products? Thanks!
Yes, I'll use the interior detail spray and if it seems like it needs a bit more kick ... use the tire protector.
Enjoy your videos. Just subscribed. What type of cloth were you using for all the wipe down you were doing?
I have been using 'the absorber' for wiping the water off for no spots and it has worked great!
I was curious what type of cloth you were using to wipe down your aluminum wheels and also your interior?
I love to see someone else that appreciates a clean rig. I always keeps my Jeep clean. I went out filming this weekend and got into some NASTY mud. Once I got home I made a quick trip to the car wash.
