Hi guys, Padley gorge is beautiful all year round, nature has blessed the surroundings. I used to pick field mushrooms and blue morrells and stales. Lovely fried in butter with salt and pepper. Liberty caps make a nice cup of tea, but hold on to your hats 🍄🤯🤣

Yes, group number 3 are a group of Sulpher Tuft. Although I can identify some mushrooms I still buy any I'm going to eat from a supermarket!

*Autumn is one of out favourite times of year, leading into the crisp December winter. We have done Padley a few times but tend to head down from Longshaw Estate to the river, turn right and head north up the river and back up to Longshaw, last time we met a quite grump cow in the path hah*
You know, we've never yet done that route but want to!! We see so many coming in from the top and we always start from the bottom at Grindleford 😅

If you get Plant Snap it will help you identify flowers and fungi. Saves you carrying the book. Plus you can take pics and identify them later if you want. Great vlog, thanks for sharing.

Another great video folks. video. I think even if I had a book telling me which ones to pick I wouldn`t trust myself to pick any for eating. Have you been up to Win Hill via Ladybower Dam there were a lot of the Fly Agaric mushrooms in the forest on the way up to the hill last year. ATB Dave.

The van build has progressed somewhat since our last video although a lot of it has been put on hold over the winter due to some other family stuff. We'll probably pick it up again soon though, ( in between work and filming other episodes) 😅

Love ‘mushrooming’ this time of year. I remember me and my dad and my dog used to go when I was little. However we stuck with field mushrooms which I still do now. Amazing on toast! 👍
