    When cleaning the injectors, hook the fuel line up backwards to back feed them. Itll knock out stuff that is lodged in place from being forced thru in only one direction.

      you mean connect the pressurized (~60psi) fuel line to the tip of the injector where the fuel sprays out? Seems like it would be really difficult to keep the fuel line from just squirting off of the tip of the injector.

      @@MohawkMotors yes, pressurize the side the fuel would normally spray out of. It's the same size connection on either side. As long as you clamp it good, itll work the same.

    Good video. It’s going to put me in the right direction for troubleshooting misfire woes on my 4.8 swap.

      @@MohawkMotors i hope so, how could i clean them out without a cleaning setup like yours, could i just let them sit in acetone?

      @@snowman6512 best bet without a setup like mine, would be an ultrasonic cleaner with carb cleaner or parts washer solvent. You might get lucky and it's just the screens in the injectors where the fuel enters are clogged up, usually you can just spray those clean with carb cleaner

      @@MohawkMotors yeah I don't understand how you guys are counting them you just list a sequence of numbers but I can't visualize what cylinder it actually is.
      Lol luckily I found a decent visual and my cylinder 6 missfire was the third spark plug back on the passenger side.
      Lol I must be a Neanderthal lmao.

    • @MohawkMotors

      it would be easier if all the manufacturers numbered cylinders the same way. GM is 1,3,5,7 from front to back on the driver side, 2,4,6,8 from front to back on passenger side. Ford does it differently and I'm not sure how dodge numbers their cylinders.

    Did you do cam swap or spring upgraded on ur 6.0 lq4? Or stock with turboed?

    • @MohawkMotors
      @MohawkMotors  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I said swapped the cam, and upgraded the valve springs to match the cam. There are cams that will work with stock valvesprings, but every cam I've installed has required shooting springs that allow for more valve lift.
