Simplicity at its finest. These simple yet powerful effects and illusions allow for the magician and audience to truly share an experience together that none there will ever forget. I’ve never seen this one before - gotta give it the 👍🏻! I enjoy pulling out a gimmicked card or small packet of cards from my pocket for tweeners like this. It provides plenty of opportunity for deck switches, whatever you want to load or ditch, and really whatever else your imagination can come up with
I agree 100%. This is a beautiful little effect that is really fun to show around yet as you say can also be used as misdirection for a deck switch etc

Good idea to apply a common vex on a playing card.
This is even stronger when you are using a double backer, as the thumbnail of your video shows it.

You should have named it: Impossible Card Illusion that fooled Steven Hawkings or something.
I'm only commenting every now and then, but I want to give some feedback about this film:
I am not sure how you are earning the money for your living, but i am happy to see you having a sponsorship that is related with the video topic (being a short and simple illusion, that will not only catch the eyes of people interested in card tricks, but also those typical social media users scrolling throught tiktok, instagram, etc.).
Even thought I am not very good at understanding geometrical illusions, i immidiately understood how its done. Especially because in the video you use a different card than in the thumbnail.
So its kind of clickbaity and definitely not worth a title like IMPOSSIBLE.. i could think of tiktok wanting you to call it that way, because clickbait is the way the internet works, and i can understand your need to make a bit of money of your youtube channel. But i think you can do much better in future sponsorship videos, you are capable of doing great card tricks and illusions as i can see in all your other videos, so it is unfortunally kind of disappointing to only see such a lame illusion.
Nontheless i enjoy watching your films, i know you can and will do better than this again.
PS: You could have done the illusion shown in the thumbnail, sticking two card together and only showing the upper side would have been a "real" illusion. ;-)
Oscar -- just a suggestion here, since I know you put a lot of effort into your videos. Clickbait thumbnails and deceptive titles might get you a lot of initial clicks, but they're not good for subscribers or loyal viewers. Channel growth takes a long time, as you know... but it WILL get there with your quality content. Focus on the content and present things in a truthful way. People avoiding your videos or channel because they are trying to avoid clickbait is not what you want for the channel. Loyal subscribers and viewers will naturally rank you higher, over time... but short-views and click-aways will affect your ranking harshly very quickly. Thumbnail aside -- another quality video... appreciate the effort you put into these.
Hi David! I totally agree! I’ve been experimenting recently - uploading more means I can grow the channel etc and I’ve been seeing what uploading every few days is like. I’ve also been experimenting with new kinds of shorter videos too just to see what happens. I’m defiantly going to tone down the click bait (like seen in this thumbnail) but some level will have to remain as that is the direction that TH-cam is heading. But rest assured the one thing that I’ve decided to maintain is quality. Thanks for the feedback it’s much appreciated; currently I’m just going through an experimental phase to see what works and what doesn’t 😊😊

@@oscar alright, I looked again. The arrangement in the thumbnail is not obvious, and I can't figure out at the moment how that was done, or if it's "real". (That is, if it was done with a normal card that has a face.)
