When dipping the fan in the glue you want to go about 1 and half milimeters deep. I accidentally said centimeters in the video.

Hi! I would place them back into another lash tray that still has the sticky trips! They work very well!

Thanks so much for this video! Sometimes when I try to pinch, I have trouble keeping the bases slim, they sometimes even split at the bottom (kind of like a broom), do you have any tips on getting a slim base?

Got this in my recommendation, watched and subscribed right away 😊, I love how clean, easy and well taught this is. My question is when I make the fans (using the pinch method) and apply them on my clients they usually collapse or fall within days but when I Pre make them prior to the appt. they last way longer. What am I doing wrong? Thank you 😊
Its very difficult to give you my feed back on what you could possibly doing wrong but my guess if i could say one thing is the pressure you are using with your tweezers when creating the fan could possibly be to light handed which makes the fans to collapse, you may need to creat your fans slower, dip the fan inside the glue dot while still holding maximum pressure and then pump your tweezers slightly and wait a second so your fan wont collapse on you before you plave the fan on the natural lash! Goodluck love trying this out!

I have always struggled with this technique do you role the vase in your fingertips or just squeeze?
First you squeeze (pinch) then manipulate the base by slightly rolling your two fingers to create your Russian Volume fan ! Great Question!
I am interested in getting a hold of the tweezer you are using in the video. I need a pair that close all the way to be able to do mega volume and I am having a hard time trying to find a quality pair of tweezers for mega volume. I've tried so many now! I always get a twisted base.. Why?
It could be your tweezers twisting the lashes just a tad which forms a twisted base or it could be when you pinch!
what is the thickness and length of lash you use in this tutorial?
The thickness is .03 and the length is a mixture of lengths!

Yes! Majority of the set I use single isolation.

When you say pinch the extensions do you mean like rolling your fingers up and down like rubbing or is it literally like pinching pinching like hard/firm ? If that makes any sense. I feel like I pinch so hard and it just messes up the fan
When your pre making them how do you knw how many lashes your getting?
Hi! With .03 you really have to eyeball the amount of lashes you pick up because how thin they! Its very difficult to determine each fan i create how many lashes ill be picking up but i dont like to make fans over 15D with .03
Do you count the amount of lashes u use? When you use them on a client can u use different size fans? Such as 6D and 10D?
Do you do this method while you are doing a set on a client ? How long would that take.
It doesn't take long for me since I have mastered the skill when performing the pinch method! I would say it can take between an hr-2 hrs for do a full set when using the pinch method! I create my Russian fans at the same time I am in service!
Do they stick for every type of eyelash extensions or do they have a special name?
These specific lashes are made to stick perfectly to any type of lash! They are .03 and they are the lightest extension you could possibly make a fan with! .03 are my ultimate favorite ttpe of extensions to work with! Thank you for watching!

I can't seem to get this right I've tried different types of lashes and different types of tweezers, but no. I go to pinch the base and when I release pressure on the tweezers nothing happens. And if I roll my fingers the lashes fall apart. What am I missing?
Have you tried using lash Therapys mega tweezer it has no sweet spot so it makes it easier to perform the pinch method! If you perfer the 90 degree tweezer we also have our 90's baby tweezer Lashtherapysupply.com

I just don’t understand how you don’t get epithelial skins cells on the lash with the pinch method? Has anyone done a microscopic test that you know of? No hate - just curious
That is a great question! This method seems to be widely accepted in the industry. According to the 'AAOO' most cosmetic adhesives including professional lash glue are formulated with a biocide that kill harmful bacteria. That in combination with proper sanitation before creating the fans seems to be sufficent amongst the common consensus. I would love for some one to delve deeper into this subject though and do thorough testing under a microscope.
However, Epithelial 'skin' cells wouldn't be my main concern. I worry more about pathogenic bacteria. Which I do my best to mitigate through sanitation. Storing your fans under a small ultra violent lamp may also be a good idea.
Lash Supply House yeah and maybe skin oils too but as you say it’s a common technique. I have never tried it but I did see a post of detacking tape compared to back of hand, towel and lint free under the microscope and was quite interesting that ALL had something on them, if even fibres.
Ohhhh good thinking. Never have thought of that if pro making. I snip what I need and throw what I don’t after each client.
