K-On - Ritsu Sentai dub moments

- Finally another upload! I usually avoid dubs like the plague, for many reasons, but Ritsu's dub voice is the only dub voice that is an exception to all those reasons. There is no energy or life lost between the Japanese and English voices. Today also happens to be Ritsu's birthday!

She pulls off the Sterotypical "Tomboy" voice perfectly
Her voice actor is a treasure to anime especially when she voiced the dub of toradora she’s a treasure to anime
Cassandra also voices Leafa from Sword Art Online

its alright, i dont really like ritsus voice however though, dunno why it just doesnt fit her in my opinion
I still can't believe that without the hairband, she's indistinguishable from Yui.
And by extension, Ui.
Azusa and Mio are pretty similar looking too, so Mugi is the only unique member of the band lol

I can kinda tell Mio and Azu apart. Azu is shorter, her face is a bit rounder, her hair looks different...
But without the headband, Ritsu looks like Yui's twin sister.

“She’s Hendrix-ing” is quite possibly the best thing I’ve heard.
That line is actually what made me remember her voice, which led me to discover how good it really was
Seeing as how Ritsu is voiced by Cassandra Lee Morris, I can't help but hear Taiga Aisaka and/or Leafa whenever she speaks.

I love the English dub for this anime so much please don’t get angry at me
This is the only anime that I have watched the original in full that I have considered watching the dub in too
No hate brother. We are all weebs no matter the language
the english dub is pretty good though, especially ritsu's actress she plays her role very well
To be honest, don't be ashamed. It is admittedly one of the top results for superlative English dubbing in anime history, alongside Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, and Death Note.

1:30 it's so weird to see Ritsu without her headband, she looks like a whole different person.
It fits her so well.
And not only that, she looks a bit like Yui Hirasawa (and by extension, Yui's sister Ui).
Kinda like how Azusa Nagano can look the same as Mio Akiyama when her hair is down.

I just like the idea that Companies like Yamaha and Tama were in part involved or at least knew of this anime all the way back in the early 2000s and we're on board with having their product names featured

One of my favorite Ritsu dub moments has to be when Mio asks her to let her play drums because she's nervous about being in front of everybody, and how she sounds going "HAVE IT YOUR WAY!!! I'D LOVE TO SEE HOW YOU'RE GONNA PULL THAT OFF!!!" when Mio says she'll play drums _AND_ bass! It just shows how well Cassandra Lee Morris fits as Ritsu.

In her more pitchy moments, she sounds like Darwin from The Amazing World of Gumball.

Fun fact Ritsu’s dream pedal is a TAMA iron cobra 900 double bass kick drum pedal along with a Yamaha recording custom 16 x 16 floor Tom in mellow yellow. Her drum kit is a YAMAHA hipgig Al foster in mellow yellow and her cymbal setup is a pair of 14 inch ZILDJIAN new beat hi hats and the rest of the cymbals are A customs. The sizes of her drums individually are 10,12,13,16 (inches) and Ritsu’s Hipgig kit has a nesting feature that allows all the drums to fit into the bass drum. Ritsu’s setup is roughly worth around $2800+

Yui's Les Paul is ~$3000
Mio and Azusa's Fenders are harder to know for sure, but Azusa's Mustang looks like a Japanese reissue of a 1969 model, which could now run from $1500 to $2500. Mio plays a Jazz Bass, but I don't think it's possible to know the year for sure. If it's a recent Mexican one, it would be close to $1000 new, American would be closer to $2000, Japanese maybe somewhere in the middle, or it could be a vintage one worth $20000 who knows.

I have cropped the season 2 moment when Mio imagines the class to be all Ritsus. The file is called "heaven.mp4" and sometimes I play it on loop.
...I always hear Kyubey, albeit a more positive take on the vile creature.
Edit: Oh, and the otherwise rough-and-tumble yet subtly sweet Taiga Aisaka.
