I haven't played either but I've looked at Feast for Odin before. And after watching this I think I am TEAM FEAST. But I would like to play both at some point.
Chloe! Congratulations, your comment was randomly selected as the winner of the giveaway! If you can reply to this comment as receipt that you've seen that you've won and then also email us at allyoucanboard@gmail.com, we can work on getting the prize sent to you! Congrats again, thanks for watching and, of course, thanks for choosing the CORRECT side. Team Feast. ;) - Dylann
💥10K SUBS GIVEWAWAY💥 Reply to this video by taking a side, either TEAM FEAST or TEAM AGRICOLA. This automatically enters you in the giveaway. On March 7, we'll reply to the comment of the winner who is randomly selected, so make sure to check back to see if you were picked! The winner will receive either A Feast for Odin or Agricola (their choice) sent to their address! If you own both already, you can choose another Uwe Rosenberg game of your choice (as long as it's readily available and we can buy it for you!) Thanks to everyone for helping us reach 10k subs and we hope you enjoy this long-awaited video!
TEAM AGRICOLA it was my first "modern boardgame" and I dont own Feast, and I am werry excited to try that out. I enjoy your channel and you guys aproch and attitude werry much, keep up the good work :-)
I play games mainly at 2P with my wife and we are definitely TEAM AGRICOLA. Love how tight the game is, where every single decision is not only impactful, but also cascades down to future actions. There is a certain amount of meanness to it that I really enjoy too. If we wanted to play a Uwe tile laying game, we'd go with Patchwork or New York Zoo instead!
Yup, that cascade effect is definitely more present in Agricola than A Feast for Odin. As for polyomino tile-laying, if you like Patchwork and New York Zoo I'd recommend Spring Meadow! Of all his lighter polyomino games, Patchwork and Spring Meadow are the two I enjoy most. - Carlo
Great video. I would say .. if you are gonna spend a whole hour comparing these two games (they absolutely deserve it!) .. but at that point I do think it’s fair to include the expansions in the discussion of which is ultimately the better game. Sounds like y’all haven’t played with Norwegians much but for me this is what places Feast as the clear number one. Team FEAST! That said when I think about which game I could play forever it might be Agricola as I think at a certain point Feast becomes more clear on what strategies are most viable (not there yet but I suspect this could be more possible since the cards are so much less relevant to the broader strategy). Thanks for the vid!
We haven't played any expansions for either game actually! Aside from some additional card decks for Agricola. But Dylann recently got The Norwegians finally, so we'll try it out soon. Sounds like your assessment of your short-term vs long-term enjoyment of both games could mirror exactly how I feel, it just so happens I've played Agricola over 150 times now and I've played Feast around 20 or 25 times. I've lost the urge to play Feast a bit (hopefully The Norwegians changes that) but I still absolutely love Agricola with every play. Thanks for watching! - Carlo
Such a fun video! I have yet to play either, but looking forward to trying them both. I feel like given descriptions on gameplay, I will probably be TEAM AGRICOLA!
You two continue to make me smile. I have no personal experience with either game, but I happened to recently watch Amy and Maggie's video on AFFO and it was very compelling! Some of your arguments here, including your own concessions Carlo, have tipped me to team Feast
Amy and Maggie are wonderful, and A Feast for Odin is a great game! I'd be curious to hear what you think once you've played them both if you get around to it. Let us know in the Discord if you do!
Team Agricola! I love how every action you take in the game is basically crucial to the final result. The theme is perfectly combined with the tension of making your farmers eat during the ending of the plague. The game is incredibly variable due to the cards you will draft at the start of the game, therefore the long-term strategy will always be different in every game. I never played AFfO because I was always afraid of the big box...but I would love to try it! Love from Rome! 🇮🇹
If you've played Agricola, you have nothing to be scared of in A Feast for Odin. It's a more complicated game, but it's not more complex, if you know what I mean. There are more things to learn, but it's easier to play and make decisions throughout the game. But I totally agree with your comments on Agricola, especially the importance of each action and also the cards. - Carlo
I know I passed the give away day, but I just wanted to say Team Feast of Odin! Mind you, I haven’t played either game but FoO seems really cool, and it is on my next by list!
Gotta go with Agricola. The tightness of the game coupled with the game changing cards is unmatched. Although there is certainly room for both on my shelf. Uwe is the man.
The tightness of Agricola is what makes it unpopular with my some of my more casual peeps (including my girlfriend) so Feast for Odin sees table time, while Agricola just kinda collects dust because people are afraid of having a bad time. Agricola, despite the inviting theme is very deceiving. People often think "oh I can manage my own farm and grow animals and stuff!" -> No, as a beginner you're constantly on the verge of starving and by the end of the game MAYBE you'll have something that resembles a farm but just when you start feeling good about yourself, the game ends. So to me Agricola is much more of a "Gamer's Game" (especially with the card drafting, which is really the way to play but everyone NEEDS to know how to play the game well) while Feast of Odin, despite the complexity, you can absolutely this game inflict even on new players. And even if comparatively they might be doing horribly, that will mostly be reflected by a lower score at the end but even the last player will have filled up most of their homeboard and an island and generally have accomplished some stuff and feel okay about themselves. Meanwhile in Agricola, a first time player who did badly might be lucky to not be in the negative scores.
My wife and I both really enjoy playing Agricola. Neither of us have ever played A Feast for Odin but I am interested in playing it. I like the tension and suspense in Agricola.
TEAM FEAST So glad you all did this video. Just discovered your channel and have been binge watching your videos and I am loving you content! I am newer to the hobby and am wanting to get my 1st uwe rosenburg big box game. I have some of his smaller games like cottage garden and really enjoy it. But wanting something heavier. A feast is much more appealing to me than agricola and seems more unique. I would love for you guys to do a compare video of all of the uwe big box games to help someone new to the hobby understand the differences and which one might be best fit to add to their collection. Im overwhelmed by his games and dont know where to start and what the differences are. So it would be nice from “Uwe experts” like yall.
Thank you so much, Rebecca! We really appreciate the kind words and we're glad to hear you're enjoying the channel! We haven't played some of the big Uwe games yet like Le Havre, Caverna, Fields of Arle, and Ora et Labora, but I think once we've played those we'll be ready to do a video covering all of his bigger games. I just got Le Havre recently so we're one step closer! Believe me, it's one of our board gaming goals, to try all the Uwe games asap, so we hope to accomplish that soon but we'll see. - Carlo
Team FEAST!! I love the Viking theme, and even though I've never played it I have been wanting to for years. I've watched and read many reviews and I know this game is for me. Hopefully I will take the plunge and buy it this year
TEAM AGRICOLA! I love the farming style which reminds me of the video game, Harvest Moon. I also enjoy being able to change up the resource choices for every play 🐮🚜
Great video - I confess to being Team Agricola. Had this for a long time - first learned how to play worker placement on my own (self taught) with Agricola Family Edition so the whole series has a special place in my collection. I have also purchased A Feast For Odin, and am starting to get into this, but I still find it hard marrying up why a polyomino tile of a rock on an island means you don't lose points from a thematic point of view! The amazing wealth of extra cards that have come out for Agricola Revised Edition over the years has also helped replayability - maybe more will come out for AFFO in time as well (although there are a large number in the base game! Shame the money in AFFO is quite small and hard to pick up at times in order to place on your island/dining table ;-)
Good point about the money being so small! I've been playing on BGA recently so that hasn't been an issue. And glad to hear you agree about the theme. :) Still an amazing game though, of course. - Carlo
TEAM FEAST....I've played Feast of Odin many times and absolutely love the game. Haven't played Argicola yet. Would love to add both games to our family's collection of board games. Keep up the great content and congratulations on 10k!!!
Dude I just played Feast a few days ago and it became my favorite game ever. It was my first heavy game or score above 3 in complexity on BGG. It was my first big Uwe game. I loved the possibilities and choices and im itching to go back and refine my strategy and explore. People don’t like dice but I even found the hunting thrilling lol
Team Agricola. Love the sheer amount of variety from the cards. "fast" setup when compared to Feast for odin. Prefer feast for odin at 2, Will play agricola at much wider player count.
TEAM FEAST. Love the area on the board. How you get the items can at times feels a little stale but always love the puzzle of fitting the pieces together
Own both, love both. Only one is my all-time favourite, and that's Agricola! The ideal amount of interaction, pressure and variety. Still thrilling, a hundred plays on. Don't worry Dylann - A Feast for Odin is my favourite solo design! But with other players involved, I'm #teamagricola all the way.
Ola! Great content, please keep it up. I haven't played any yet but my instinct would take me to be on TEAM FEAST, because of the open possibilities and different strategies.
Silver AND beans!!! 😂 What a wonderful comparison & super fun video... thank you so much for having us take part. "you might not enjoy Agricola more after 10 or even 20 games" 😏 team feast forever !!!!!! 💕
Thank you so much for taking the time to put together such a great little video clip! Even though I'm a LITTLE sad you chose Team Feast, I can absolutely respect it, and I'll hold out hope that maybe one day Agricola will overtake A Feast For Odin for you once you get above 20 plays, hehe... and if not, your #1 game of all-time is still amazing. Hope to play either game with you both some day! - Carlo
As someone super new to the hobby(also someone who hasn’t played either) I think I have to say team feast.. it just looks more appealing. Really enjoy your positive videos, super refreshing!
Fun discussion! I haven't had the opportunity to play either, but I posted earlier that I was on team Feast based on what I knew.. but after watching your video I'm switching to TEAM FEAST. I like the idea that the decisions you make have consequences.. some might call it 'punishment', but to me it adds enjoyable weight to the decisions you make. I also admit that adherence to theme is something that bothers me more than it should. I'd disagree that polyominos are inherently hard to incorporate into a them. You mentioned Patchwork.. but also Cottage Garden, Isle of Cats, Cartographers, etc are games the incorporate polyominoes well into the theme. I could imagine a version of feast where maybe polys placed on the island represented villages and roads, and maybe polys placed on a banquet table could be plates of food, etc. Great work!
I'm not sure if you meant Agricola in one of those instances in your first paragraph there, I'm hoping you meant that you switched to Team Agricola! But no hard feelings either way. I like where your head's at re: polyominoes and themes! - Carlo
I have not played either yet. Although I’m interested in playing both, I am most interested in playing and buying AFFO. Team Feast!Everything Dylan said really resonated with me. Congrats on 10k milestone!
Team Feast! It's a joy everytime, and seeing it setup always makes me excited to play again; Although I think I agree with Carlo's point at the end, with enough plays and more familiarity with Agricola I could see myself changing teams. Great video, fun to see two of Uwe's best games compared like this!
I think you're the first person in the comments on Team Feast who said that (about maybe changing teams one day), so thanks for that! Both games are amazing though. - Carlo
Team Agricola for me! I’m still fairly new to the game, probably played 8 times, but really enjoying it, and honestly when I’ve looked at Feast for Odin it just seemed too complicated.
I think this is one of my favorite videos you’ve done. Thank you for this!!! Having not played either, and solely based on the video (and having played other Uwe games including Caverna, Hallertau, and Patchwork), I think Agricola will be the first of the two I will purchase (probably tomorrow). #teamagricola #lovethisdebate #opentobeprovenwrong
Wow, thanks! We were definitely passionate about this topics, that's for sure. I know you've played Agricola since you left this comment (sorry we're so late going back through hundreds of these comments) and I'm happy to hear you're on the right team, even if A Feast for Odin is also an amazing game. - Carlo
Although Carlo's arguments are way better, as usual. I'm Team Feast on this one, love Dyllan's enthusiasm. Hope you will do more of these vids, nice twist.
Hey Kim, glad to hear you enjoyed the video but I'm not sure it's fair to say my arguments are way better. Dylann made some great points about A Feast for Odin here, and I think we have some pretty balanced discussions overall in our videos. I realize you probably meant it more as a compliment to me than an insult to Dylann, so it's all good, clearly no ill will, I just wouldn't want anyone who sees this to get the wrong impression if they haven't watched many of our other videos. Either way, thanks for watching and leaving a comment! We'll definitely do more videos comparing games going forward. - Carlo
Congrats on 10k!! Unfortunately, I've only played Agricola so I can't vote fairly, but I will say I enjoyed the game. Feast for Odin is on my wishlist, though! Great video guys, loved the thematic intro and Carlo not being sure if he was gonna go back in time or jump 8 months into the future 😅🤣
There is no "heavy competition" for spaces in Agricola because you can't go after only one resource (unless you plan on losing). For example, a player blocked your sheep? Go for the pigs, and wait until the next round when the other player goes for the pigs, and you take the sheep.
I'm sure you understood the rules correctly, but it doesn't sound like you understood the strategy of the game. It would never really make sense to take 1 single sheep or boar in the round immediately after someone else took a pile of them. If someone goes to one of those spaces, then next round there's only one of that resource there, and if you're taking just 1 sheep or 1 boar with an action, that alone will probably set you far behind. I've never seen anyone do that and win. And your point about there being no heavy competition doesn't make any sense. It has nothing to do with going for one single resource, I think you misunderstood what I said in the video. Everyone needs REED to build rooms and renovate their house. Building rooms allows you to get more family members. So if you're not going for reed and you let your opponent keep getting it, you're pretty much guaranteed to lose unless you have an Occupation or Minor Improvement that helps you get reed in some other way. Similarly, if you're not racing for the first Family Growth spot to get more workers, you're probably not going to be in a competitive enough spot to have a chance of winning. - Carlo
#teamfeast. Agricola is clearly legendary, and challenging, and intricately put together, but Feast is so much more engaging and thematic and fun. Congrats on the milestone guys.
Excellent video, I was very pleased to see the comparison...as I have played neither. Even though Agricola my have a less appealing theme, I like the "take that" element in games in general...where you can do some strategic blocking, etc...I think that element is definitely a product of the games age. In our current world of participation trophies (where competitiveness and winning is "not fair for everyone")...I like that. I like to be rewarded for my creative thinking and planning in general. Also, just wanted to know what is hard to understand about a silver buying you a meal?...most people do this every week! The only thing missing, is touching on how both games solo (if at all).
Big fan of Agricola! Haven't played Feast but would really like to give it a go. Came here to hear more about Feast actually, so thanks for this! So, Team Agricola, I guess...?
I haven’t played either game yet but I’m more intrigued by a feast for Odin so I guess that makes me team feast. The theme probably has something to do with that. Sorry Carlo! Love the channel 😀
Don't be sorry, Samuel! It's definitely the more intriguing theme. If ever you play both games I'd be curious to hear which one you end up liking more! Either way, I hope you enjoy them both because they're both amazing. And thanks for the kind words! - Carlo
Team feast! I didn’t think to compare these two. I always thought Agricola vs caverna was the rivalry. But this was a great comparison and video! Keep up the great work!
Thanks, Michael! If we had played Caverna we probably would've done that instead, but it just so happens that these are each of our favourite Uwe Rosenberg games, at least for now. Since we filmed this video, I bought Le Havre but we still need to play it. - Carlo
Team Feast, but I enjoy both for different reasons. As Carlo said, Agricola feels more about mastering the game, having a predictably randomized gameplay loop. A Feast for Odin is more about exploring a shifting puzzle from different angles. The cards in Agricola ask you to see a path from the start of the game, in Feast they simply offer you a place to start. A Feast for Odin wins for me because it gives me - the person knowing and explaining the game - a chance to have a fun game exploring a weird angle, while new players enjoy themselves and have an actual chance to win. In Agricola, somebody who knows the game will either crush new players or has to play inefficient, and both aren't fun. It's a great game, but it requires players of similar skill.
I agree 100% with your comment, except for the fact that I'm on Team Agricola obviously. But you're absolutely right - if I was showing either game to a group of new players, I'd probably have more fun toying around with the system in Feast as well compared to possibly destroying new players in Agricola. Thanks for the super thoughtful comment. - Carlo
Team Feast. The Viking theme is more appealing and I think it would be easier to persuade my family to play with me. Would be happy to try argricola too
I've not yet played either but so keen on both. I think Feast just slightly wins for me, as I prefer the theme plus I'm a big fan of polyomino games at the moment!
TEAM FEAST! The choices are so plentiful and crunchy! And the polyomino part of it satisfies such an itch! My brother introduced me to hobby board games and constantly wanted to play Agricola, I never won! Thanks for all your great content and congrats on 10k!
TEAM AGRICOLA! .....and the reason? I just love how punishing this game is. You have to build your engine while thinking about how you can feed your family at the end of the harvest season and have at least one of everything. And like what Carlos' said, you have to think if you should take the resources now before it's gets better for your opponent next round. I'm also curious to know for Carlos - agricola or caverna? Sorry Dylann! But congrats on 10K subs!
Glad to hear you appreciate those crucial timing elements in Agricola too! I haven't played Caverna yet so I can't compare the two yet, but hopefully one day soon! - Carlo
Team Feast! Haven’t played neither, but i have my eyes on the feast for a long time! Watched all the playthroughs available in the web. Keep up with the great content
TEAM FEAST The thing is... I don't own any of this game, nor have I played them. However, the name I hear once and again since I stumble into the hobby three years ago is A Feast for Odin. So many people have talked about how interesting and fun it is to play it that I just keep thinking about giving it a go. I thing however in this debate the thing that made me take this side is the idea of showing it to people. Because I like to play a lot with different persons, often times my favorite part is watching the spark in their eyes the moment they get a game and are 200% into it. I believe Feast might be one of those games.
For sure, a lot of people fall in love with A Feast for Odin when they first play it, and I did too. I just don't think it gets better with each play in the same way Agricola does, but it's still a really good game.
I am TEAM FEAST. I bought Agricola thirteen years ago after it was recommended as an excellent entry into the board gaming world. I was thrown into the deep end of the pool with that recommendation and I almost drowned. I still own that perfect copy of Agricola and it still sits on my shelf serving as a memory/trophy of my entry into the board gaming hobby. I tried to play it on three separate occasions over a few years and I still didn't find it a satisfying experience whatsoever. Misery Farm is a good name for it. Conversely, A Feast for Odin SINGS to me and my gaming group absolutely. I want to thank All You Can Board for your efforts and content. I value your opinions and suggestions. Also, Uwe Rosenberg is brilliant and I admire his skills at game design. He's given my friends and I countless hours of enjoyment and challenges. I stand firmly for TEAM FEAST.
Thank you for the kind words! Sorry to hear you've had disappointing plays of Agricola. I know you're not the first person to say something like this about the game though, it's a really tight game that rewards repeated plays with other experienced, competitive players. Outside of that environment, it can be a tough sell. - Carlo
Definitely, but there are 2 reasons we went with this comparison: 1. Agricola is my #1 game of all-time, and A Feast for Odin is Dylann's #1 2. When we filmed this, neither of us had played Caverna yet. I've tried it a few times on Board Game Arena since, but we have yet to play the physical version together. We love Uwe Rosenberg though, so we'll continue playing his games and making videos about them. There's a good chance you'll see an Agricola vs Caverna video in the future and maybe a Caverna vs A Feast for Odin one as well. Thanks for watching! (Also, I love the Hobbes profile pic - classy!) - Carlo
It may be by default, but Team Agricola here! Love that game, it was one of my first ever games that got me into the hobby and remains an absolute favourite. Feast has been on the wishlist for a while though, so hoping to get to try it soon!
A lot of people who play Agricola early in their gaming days seem to really enjoy it. I feel like once it sinks its hooks into you, it's tough for other games to live up to that level of depth. - Carlo
Ive never played either of them so I can't say fairly which one I love more. Feast seems more interesting to me just from how you both describe them. Hopefully I win and get to try one out 😄
I've noticed that most, if not all, people who spend $300 on a game before they ever play it will usually have some regrets about that decision. Why go online and leave a bunch of comments trying to ruin other people's enjoyment of the game? Go play games you enjoy, nobody's forcing you to play Agricola. - Carlo
@@AllYouCanBoard - So, you make a video talking about the pros and cons of Agricola, but you can't handle negative comments about the game? Very mature.
@@EfrainRiveraJunior Come on, that's not fair to say. You've made almost 10 separate comments trashing the game in different ways without providing valid reasons for most of your comments. "Agricola's scoring SUCKS" doesn't contribute to the discussion of these games in a meaningful way. There are hundreds of comments on this video, take a look through them and see how many other people have left comments like that. And see if I've reacted the same way to any other comments about people who didn't like Agricola but went about it in a respectful way. Way more people have said they like A Feast for Odin more than Agricola and that's totally cool with me, I know a lot of people don't like it, but the way you've gone about filling this comment section with negative comments comes across as a bit disrespectful, even if you didn't mean it that way.
TEAM AGRICOLA for now with a hundred plus plays, but my significant opponent is excited to try A Feast for Oden after watching this video. Thank you for the entertaining, fair, and informative video.
@@AllYouCanBoard , we started playing A Feast for Odin, and my significant opponent does indeed like it a lot. Personally, I feel very disconnected from the theme when I'm doing the polyomino part (as you noted for yourself). It's a fun experience, but not as good as Agricola for me.
Me over here yelling “Caverna is the real winner!” 🤣👏🏻 just kidding, I haven’t actually ever played either Agricola or A Feast For Odin. I have heard Agricola and Caverna are similar so I will have to go Team Agricola! Would love a chance to play them both eventually! Great video guys and congrats on 10K subscribers! 👏🏻
Feast for Odin all the way ! Never played Agricola because it doesn’t excite me at all. I love the theme of feast for Odin, I love different actions, dealing with three boards. It was my holy grail when I finally managed to get my hands on it few years back !
It can be tough to get excited about Agricola because it looks pretty drab but you really have to experience it to get a feel for it. Not saying you have to like it, just saying it's a tough game to really understand how punishing and tight it is without actually playing it. That might not be your thing in board games though, and that's totally cool too. - Carlo
The puzzle Tetris aspect of Feast for Odin is very engaging, especially trying to acquire the bonus resource items as you are doing it. In addition, going for even more territory like acquiring islands and buildings makes it even more exciting. The Board Game Arena version of Feast is extremely awesome and has a few quirks on the iPad (with rotating and placing) but it’s getting to be near perfection. If BGA gets the expansion for Feast, this will be a powerhouse beast of a game, and will definitely be my most played. The bonus cards on Feast (to me) are not as exciting as Agricola and most of the time I ignore them cause they are not worth the effort, but I guess using them would add direction and goals for increasing victory points. Agricola is fun because of the cards, but the gameplay is definitely more stressful than Feast for Odin as there are so many other choices in Odin that if someone takes your spot, you still can maneuver your way around it. The feeding aspect on Agricola is extremely limiting and punishing for other goals you wanna do, but on Odin it’s not as bad as you can accomplish it quickly and concentrate on other things. I like the productivity of my cows and sheep on Odin too rather than just a source for food on Agricola. I guess you can you can utilize animal productivity besides meat in Agricola, but I remember it as being too much work, needing the right cards, and being too late in the game as an engine to provide any benefit. The “-1s” on the Odin player mats look scary, but as you get near the end they fill up quickly somehow. For me, I like the Agricola variability of the cards and the iOS app, but for replay-ability, I have to side with Feast for Odin as you can take different paths to victory and feeling satisfied at the end, even if I lose.
Both games are really well done on BGA and we're lucky to be able to play these games over and over on there for free. I think I agree with almost everything you said about both games here, and I'm really hoping the Norwegians expansion makes it to BGA too. - Carlo
I like both, Agricola has like you pointed out more competition between players. You can block and have to block other players. Odin I feel you more play your own game and not against each other. Agricola is a bit lighter allowing you to also socialize a bit more during the game, While Odin has so many options you are deep in your game that you are not chatting as much with your friends. Now, Caverna will bring team Odin and team Agrigola together. It is a great alternative that combines elements from both.
I haven't played either but I've looked at Feast for Odin before. And after watching this I think I am TEAM FEAST.
But I would like to play both at some point.

Thanks for the kind words, Peter!
TEAM FEAST!! although the setup is a beast, I find it more relaxing and less restrictive
Great 10k special! Enjoyed hearing both of your thoughts and you're quickly becoming my favorite board game channel. Also Team Feast.
That's some high praise, thank you very much!
- Carlo
Team Agricola! I haven’t played either yet but I recently got Agricola and looking forward to playing it!
@@AllYouCanBoard I will. I'm Lyrai there, if you couldn't tell
- Carlo
What an epic 10k special. You guys never disappoint. TEAM AGRICOLA ALL DAY
A Feast for Odin can’t be beat. Best game ever, particularly for solo.
You love to hear it.
I know I passed the give away day, but I just wanted to say Team Feast of Odin! Mind you, I haven’t played either game but FoO seems really cool, and it is on my next by list!
TEAM AGRICOLA!... mainly because I haven't played Feast for Odin. Definitely want to try after hearing it talked up so much by you guys!
TEAM FEAST! Always look forward to y'all's videos. Keep up the awesome work you two.
TEAM FEAST
So glad you all did this video.
Haven't played either yet but just got a copy of Agricola! Excited to try it out :)
Awesome, I hope you like it as much as I do! - Carlo
I haven’t played either game but to me Agricola seems more like something I would love to play!
TEAM AGRICOLA! Thank you for doing this.
- Carlo
Team Feast! I’ve had it on my wishlist for a while. It looks amazing and I love the theme.
TEAM FEAST....I've played Feast of Odin many times and absolutely love the game. Haven't played Argicola yet. Would love to add both games to our family's collection of board games. Keep up the great content and congratulations on 10k!!!
Woow!!! You both pulled out the friends for support hahahha. Hysterical! Great video guys
Haha, we had no choice! And thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Really want to play both after watching you guys talk so much about them across videos! I'm team Agricola since it seems more my speed however :D
Happy to hear you're on Team Agricola but definitely still check out A Feast for Odin if you can! Both games are amazing. - Carlo
Woooo! You love to hear it.
You need to play more "heavy" games.
Team Agricola. Love the sheer amount of variety from the cards. "fast" setup when compared to Feast for odin. Prefer feast for odin at 2, Will play agricola at much wider player count.
Great video. Made me laugh a lot in many occasions. Thanks for that! Pains me to choose, but I have to go with team Feast!
Thanks for the contest gents - both games are in my collection and both deserve to be there!
I just bought AFFO... in French... the new edition by Super Meeple (nothing changed)... that was 130 before tax...
I actually think I'd like A Feast for Odin most as a solo game too, I've only played it 2-4 so far.
Oh, and #teamagricola for life!
- Carlo
Ola! Great content, please keep it up. I haven't played any yet but my instinct would take me to be on TEAM FEAST, because of the open possibilities and different strategies.
You guys are one of my go to for game info. Congrats on the 10K. Big milestone.
#team Feast
Thank you so much for the kind words!
- Carlo
Silver and beans, silver and beans, I'm a little lad who loves silver and beeeeeeeeans. 🎵
TEAM FEAST! I haven’t played either yet and I think I’d love both, but I think I’d pick Feast for Odin to try/buy first. Love the video! Thanks!
As someone super new to the hobby(also someone who hasn’t played either) I think I have to say team feast.. it just looks more appealing. Really enjoy your positive videos, super refreshing!
Thanks for the kind words!
TEAM FEAST the theme and mechanics are both interesting, and the puzzle of how to arrange the polyominoes is fun every round.
Haven’t played Feast for Odin yet so i guess team Agricola. Wanting to try it one day! Keep up the great work fellas!
Great job pulling in videos from other you-tubers!
I haven’t played either yet but Dylann has convinced me, Team Feast!!!
TEAM FEAST all about that tile placement, seems like a best-of of Uwe's mechanics in a box
- Carlo
@@AllYouCanBoard Ha oops. My mistake.. yes, Team Agricola!
Team Feast! Love the theme and gameplay! definitely on my wish list :) Congrats on 10k!
- Carlo
Team Feast! Love the open-world experience, just so much to discover in this game.
I'm like Carlo where most of my plays have been Agricola. But playing Agricola with my kids now has reminded me why I love it so #teamAgricola
Playing Agricola with your kids... oh man, that's the dream!
#teamagricola

#opentobeprovenwrong
- Carlo
I’m just learning Agricola now, so for the time being I guess I’m TEAM AGRICOLA but would love to try Feast.
Haha yeah, I'm not sure what happened in my brain there with the dates, definitely short circuited!
- Carlo
@@AllYouCanBoard - Thank you for proving my point, that if you don't get the cards, you lose.
#teamfeast. Agricola is clearly legendary, and challenging, and intricately put together, but Feast is so much more engaging and thematic and fun. Congrats on the milestone guys.
Both great games. I prefer Feast but you can't go wrong with Agricola. So Team FEAST. Keep up the great content fellas.
Team Feast! Clever, thoughtful but still fun and actually quite easy to learn - after a few turns!
Definitely TEAM FEAST. So many options, so much fun.
Big fan of Agricola! Haven't played Feast but would really like to give it a go. Came here to hear more about Feast actually, so thanks for this! So, Team Agricola, I guess...?
Haven’t played either but keen too
Wha... What about Caverna?
Team Agricola because it is what got me interested in Uwe's games!
We just haven't tried Caverna yet! But as soon as we do, we'll try to feature it on the channel.
Team Feast! Congratulations on your 10k subscribers and love your intro!
The intro was awesome Dylann!
- Carlo
Congrats!! Team Agricola
Great video guys, haven't played neither yet but from what I've seen I believe I'm team Feast!
Team Feast !!! Snacks and Vikings how could you go wrong !
The theming of Feast, is what puts me in the TeamFeast camp
TEAM FEAST! The choices are so plentiful and crunchy! And the polyomino part of it satisfies such an itch!
My brother introduced me to hobby board games and constantly wanted to play Agricola, I never won!
Thanks for all your great content and congrats on 10k!
Team Feast! It's time to give it a try
- Carlo
TEAM FEAST....based entirely on the fact that I played agricola and didn't enjoy it, but would love to try Feast for Odin
Team Feast! Haven’t played neither, but i have my eyes on the feast for a long time! Watched all the playthroughs available in the web. Keep up with the great content
TEAM FEAST
The thing is...
I love games that take forever to set up and I love warm hugs, so, Feast for the win!!
- Carlo
I feel like Caverna would have made more sense to go up against Feast due to them both being more sandboxy
Definitely, but there are 2 reasons we went with this comparison:
1. Agricola is my #1 game of all-time, and A Feast for Odin is Dylann's #1
(Also, I love the Hobbes profile pic - classy!)
- Carlo
It may be by default, but Team Agricola here! Love that game, it was one of my first ever games that got me into the hobby and remains an absolute favourite. Feast has been on the wishlist for a while though, so hoping to get to try it soon!
A lot of people who play Agricola early in their gaming days seem to really enjoy it. I feel like once it sinks its hooks into you, it's tough for other games to live up to that level of depth. - Carlo
The theme for a Feast for Odin is more appealing to me.
Ive never played either of them so I can't say fairly which one I love more. Feast seems more interesting to me just from how you both describe them. Hopefully I win and get to try one out 😄
Team Feast for sure and it's not close.
Absolutely TEAM FEAST!! One of the best games! Great video comparing the two! Cheers!
I've noticed that most, if not all, of Agricola defenders, are all because of nostalgic reasons.
Team feast! Vikings that isn't all gore and blood shed is a breath of fresh air.
That's true, I hadn't really thought of the fact that it's a relatively friendly viking game. Good point! - Carlo
I need to get some games of both of these in on BGA just to learn them! After that MAAAYBE I’ll be able to pick a side.
Yes! They're both really well implemented on BGA actually, great way to try them out!
TEAM AGRICOLA for now with a hundred plus plays, but my significant opponent is excited to try A Feast for Oden after watching this video. Thank you for the entertaining, fair, and informative video.
Glad to hear you're on Team Agricola but honestly A Feast for Odin is really good too. And thanks for the kind words! - Carlo
Thanks, Jenna! Haha, we really need to try Caverna still! Who knows - maybe it'll move way up the list for us one day.
- Carlo
That’s a hard one.
TEAM FEAST for me. But. Agricola is also on the list…
