Just finished mine here in cali, took it to Ocotillo wells desert this year it was sickkk. im running a turbo t3t4 turbonectics side mount intercooler and arb spring lift handled great
Gautier B are your CR-V lifted? And what are your Tyre dimensions? Thanks a lot for the information. I have a CR-V too but never took it to this kind of adventure... Lol Greedings from Portugal. ;)
Dominique Oliveira you're welcome ! Lifted 3cm, stock tire but with 4.2cm offset (3 cm spacers and 1,20cm wheels), old Toyota snorkel and custom exhaust :)
amazing crv. looks and performs good. question, I will be getting a 2000 crv AWD, manual tranny, I will be doing what you are doing, making it off road capable with about that same size tires and lift. my question is , would I still be able to drive it as a daily driver on highway speeds 70Mph, with no issues? or it would have to be more of lower speed vehicle?., also I will be pulling it being a motor home sometimes, I'm wondering if I will have issues doing that with those bigger tires. these cars are very popular to flat tow behind motor home, but that's with stock tires. I Thank you in advance for your opinions, and great job on that crv.
Thank you for your message. I've got stock size tire so it's perfect on road. This is my daily and the main issue is the noise from the exhaust(ni muffler and stainless pipe) at high speed (up to 100km/h) but I can go at 140km/h without any problem ;)
What kind of liftkit are you using? I am thinking about getting a crv as well but i am a bit afraight it might be not powerful or high enough for some service roads i wanna go for hunting and fishing.
Kuttler08 King Springs springs +3cm and Koni shocks. You can lift up to 5cm without problems. I think that the main problem is the absence of a diff lock and also maybe slow gears. As usual, the manual transmition is '' faster'' than auto
Beautiful sound
Thank you for this vid. Im gonna be moving to Colorado this year and I will be lifting my 98 crv soon. Seeing this vid is awesome
I actually live in CO and my lifted RD1 is super fun in the snow and has been really fun on a lot of trails!

Propre!!
WHAT KINDA WHEELS ARE THOSE?! LOOKS SICK
Never thought that the CR V was capable of this type of things... ;)
Dominique Oliveira, you just need to know the limits of the car and also the driver for sure... 😂

Thanks for the quick answer :) Can i put in the shocks and springs without any modifications?
Kuttler08 With You're welcome ;) +3cm, no mods needed. But some people with 5cm have some issue with the axles and vibrations at some speed.
Now thats off-road
What exhaust setup do you have?
What brand cold air intake? Where can I get it to purchase?
Shaun Nembhard it's à snorkel from an old Toyota LJ coming from m'y local shop.
