The thing I love most about Adele is her integrity.
She's always been a well-known name in the UK and people loved the person she was. Then she released Someone Like You and her career went crazy. She became one of the biggest names on the planet overnight and has stayed up there. But she's stayed the Adele that was around in the early 2000s. For that, I love her.
I think you meant to say Rolling In The Deep. That was her biggest break and Someone Like You shot her through the ceiling like right afterwards because of the consistency. But still she is excellent, knew she’d be great once I really sat down and gave this song a chance. Such talent!
Adele came around in 2008 not the early 2 thousands. She became famous in the UK first but only a year later was she famous in the US after her SNL performance. She had a number 1 album there and won 2 grammys. Rolling In The Deep made her a superstar but she was very famous before that anyway.

I've also always thought it was pretty interesting, the sound of how she structures the following two lyrics. She had the balls to make it sort of disjointed and contradictory, also in a more conventional pop song they would've had the last word of that section not end as early before the music.
