Standing on the cliffs...gazing at Lion's Arch in ruins....with tears in my eyes...yes we put up our weapons....yes we have defeated Scarlet Briar.....but when I see what she has done to our beloved home...and that our future is now uncertain because of her....what have we fought for at all? What have we lost? What have we gained? Was it all worth it? I guess....only the future will know the answers. Let's see what it brings....
SniperiusForever Scarlet did what Zhaitan could not, but we destroyed even her. One by one, the elder dragons will be destroyed, and Lion's Arch will stand proud once again. They will be dust, and Lion's Arch will live on. Elona and Cantha will be free, as well.
You have missed SO much o_O March of the Legions at the Shatterer Fight, The Raven Speaks, The Seraph in the Source or Orr Personal Story Quest, Here be Dragons, that epic victorious and joyful vibe when you enter Fort Trinity after you've defeated Zhaitan and Darkness Will Fall sets in, the Battle at the Breachmaker........jeeeeeez o_O
Justforvisit Oh I've heard all the music :) I just did not have it on for a few months ingame, I have the full sound track :D also every time they add new music to the game since hearing this newer track, I have hunted them down ^^
Same here, it's the Guild Wars 1 Lion's Arch theme, but with a darker touch to it. It's more gloomy and sad, whereas the GW1 version of Lion's Arch was cheery and colorful. It's because the storyline of GW2 has Lion's Arch flooded and completely wrecked, but in GW1, it was a vibrant place of community and business. Reminds me of GW1's days.... :(
This tune gives me inspiration to try and get back into GW2 but unfortunately all it leads is to remembering the good ol days. Everyone who just started playing... remember to take things SLOW and don't rush. This game is beautiful but sadly, too many things have changed for some of us veterans.
In postern ward for over 30 minutes crafting with this music in the background, damm why did they had to remove the crafting stations at postern ward, it was my favorite place
Was Lion's Arch in GW2 intact before Scarlet Briar? It's hard to keep track of all that has happened, I just recently started playing GW2 and only found it Lion's Arch in ruins, and I can't remember much from GW1 anymore.
The Old or Original Lions Arch in GW1 is flooded a few decades before GW2 with Zhaitian's Awakening. They rebuild it on land later. From launch of GW2 to Feb 2014 it was intact until Scarlet
omgroflgamer2010 There are quite some inconsistencies visible even to me. My character knows Scarlet though I've never played anything from season 1 or 2 (only personal story, dungeons and open world thus far). Sometimes I'm revered in starting areas for deeds I have never done by races I've never met before. And in some personal story missions I was talking to characters like friends about events I never took part in.
Logged into Lions Arch and heard this, beautiful.
Wish I could've seen the old Lions Arch ingame..miss the destroyed one..
You can on the core personal story. You are moved to a instance of the old LA.
@@mormegil231 that was 1 of the Order story right?
This is done now, an item who tp you in the old lion arch, with other players to. :)
Hey, how do you get it? I didn't play for a while.

beautiful music to go along with a great game
Loving this.
I love this. I only recently turned my music back on in game so I had not heard this until a couple of days ago.

Ah ok then :)
1:53 2:35 Sea of Sorrow
2:59 Overture
Jesus finally I found it, I've been going through the soundtrack for ages but didn't find it. Yay !
1:53 !! sea of sorrows so beautifully worked in! :')
It really makes you miss the "good old days of the good old Lion's Arch" .___.
Finally found it! This is almost too emotional and epic, whenever i hear it in game, i just stop playing, and listen.

Probably my favourite piece from the game,
FINALLY! lion's arch reborn and lament the best songs and right after one another in the game tooo! AND NOW I KNOW BOTH TITLES!
With tears in my eyes im listening to this wonderful music
RIP old LA (this track is a BANGER)
It reminds me some old RPG :3
Thanks for adding this.
This is very reminiscent of the final score from "Stalingrad"
I miss the big lion :(
+FinalShinobi But it's back though
+ngfshgsfhsgh Not as noticeable as it used to be, kinda shoved off to the side really.
Hmmm, where he is now?
MrVlad12340 Near the fort with all the portals
Man, i didn't even have a level 80 character when Scarlet decided to go on a crazed murder spree
In postern ward for over 30 minutes crafting with this music in the background, damm why did they had to remove the crafting stations at postern ward, it was my favorite place
I want it on my funeral
HOW DID I ONLY JUST REALIZE THIS IS A SAD VERSIONNOF SANDS OF KRYTA
we will rebuild

This track reminds me about Biviane in Sea of Sorrows..
I wish the history of Lion's Arch will be an event at the 10th anniversary
10 years later, you can go back into the old lion arch with other players to. :D
this song reminds me of a song in WoW:WOTLK
Omg 1:53 the old theme worked in...
Me encanta.
does anyone know the song playing during the guild wars 2 add that is running lately?
Lion's Arch was living in peace,,, untill Scarlet attacked.
-sniffs- Never Forget... Q~Q
