Talked with a guy today who's rather new to climbing, and got into climbing lingo. Hit him with the trout tickler, wide pony, Lob, cray etc. Needless to say his mind was blown.

What's the O scale?
The grading scale which relates to Ondra.
O0 - adam can flash it
O1 - adam can do it in a session
O2 - takes adam 2 sessions, etc.
so most things in the world are either O0 or O1

when youre putting toes in and then bring the knee in to lock it in place, does is absolutely kill your toes? only asking as when I tried it last I found it excruciating, should I just be cracking on through the pain?
In my experience shoes make a massive difference, try starting easy with flat shoes that aren't too tight. If you can fit more of your foot because your toes aren't too cramped then it will hurt a lot less. But it's still normal to be a bit uncomfortable, especially if you're still figuring out the technique.

9:00 - consider working the hard move in reverse, from where you want to end up back to leading move to hardest move?
You should take a scale, put it under the semi lob, stand on it and see how much weight you can take off by semi-lobbing
every time i go to the bouldering gym i try a crack, yet to even hang off hands and feet, let alone "semi-lobs"!!

TIP FOR TOM: when using youtube on your phone, just double tap either side of the screen to jump 5/10 seconds either direction (rather than trying to adjust the clunky slider at the bottom of the video)
