I think alfonse is still a fine AR-O omnitank if you land on a lucky bonus lineup. Otherwise as you're well aware he's my favorite Nergal subordinate, that guy farms. The reason the time's gate interaction didn't work as you thought is because the bonus is functionally inverse, units with the bonus *become* beacons instead of having dumb omni warping. That's how they intended Kvasir to originally work after all before everything in the meta was able to nuke her for free. Interesting to see how many teams disrespected Freyr this week, he's a version 7 bonus and everything but I don't think I saw him on defense at all so everyone got farmed by embla Hraesvelgr. I got a perfect week on defense but my brain went AFK and I accidentally left timerra in range of Heiðrun while attempting to flex for pots that I didn't need and missed my bonus kill I hate it here.
@@cjsomebody2625 You're right I was thinking that Times Gate made everyone into Young Erymen lol Yea I have to agree with the Nergal + Brave Alfonso partnership it's a pain to deal with and also please accept 🤣🤣 my apologies because I found significant joy in your pot handling misery. Also I think Bat girl might be the fastest unit in the game at max invest atm. It was impossible trying to tank her 😭
Yeah I threw together that team on a whim because it was funny, 3 healing hands and all but I was always like "6 melee is cringe how is this supposed to win" so I swapped it out after a day. Fehology discord was telling me it was impossible to tank her because between Freyr and her own cleanse it was perfect coverage that you just couldn't mess with so I told em I'd go back to it if AR wasn't giving out infantry flowers. Sure enough it gave me a good show, got to see bird farm a Seteth/Attuned Peony supported Caeda it was awesome. It was also funny seeing how many people ignored the C slot giving gym bro 4 mov Freyr was the best red herring.
@cjsomebody2625 Yea the pairs was really tough to deal with and she was so difficult to take at range too because of how much DR she gets and the Divine Nectar support. I had the same 6 melee units issue as well so I threw Micaiah in there to balance things out lol 😆.
@@IscAst4 I think the "Emblem Effect" is the solution as well because it creates more versatility and inclusivity in FEH. But I also think that they could release units with the "cool down +1" effect built into their weapons that would entice us to pull for them (kinda like Emblem Ike). It then becomes a question of which option would sell better for IS, a powerful premium 5 star unit locked to a seasonal banner or an Emblem Hero. I'm not sure which option IS would go with but it would be a great way to shake up the way we played the game.
Te explico: "Boulder" (3 CD) y "No slaying" (3 CD) hace posible usar "Laguz Friend" Boulder (3CD) y "slaying" (2 CD) no hace posible usar "laguz friend", el efecto emblema (cooldown count +1) (3 CD) haría posible usar "laguz friend" Boulder ( 3 CD) y "cooldown count +1" (4 CD) no añadiría ningún beneficio usando "Laguz friend".
@@IscAst4 Yea I agree that if a unit has "CD+1" in their weapon it would tie them to high cool down specials so IS would have to compensate for that with some type of in-combat rally spectrum which takes up room in a units weapon description. But I still think they could make it work since most new units have 2 or 3 effects in their weapons plus stats and most of the higher cost specials are generally better in terms if damage. Looking at Ather at 6 CD for example, it would take an insane amount of special jumping with LF and Time Pluse + external CD support to have it ready on the 1st hit but if this hypothetical unit hits hard enough it wouldn't matter how high the CD is. And yea an Emblem ring would more than likely be the right pick from an accessibility standpoint. Who would that Emblem Hero be though 🤔
@Asher_FEH If you manage to get 2 Ninja Tharja, I would like to recommend you to fodder her A slot to Ninja Lucina. Dude, N!Lucina is already crazy, but when you give her E!Marth's Miracle and Sly Swift Sparrow with a Speed Boon, Jesus Christ, she becomes a beast.
@@gg.tacticsadvance if I didn't use trait fruits on the Tharja I currently have I would have foddered her due to her not being that great. I'm not a big fan of the swift sparrow line of skills because they don't offer you anything in the enemy phase. Flared Sparrow is the only exception because of the terrain effects. I see the value of the new skill from a damage perspective but I'm sure we'll get something else that performs well in both phases in a couple months.
