Thanks for watching!
Awesome. I spent days in this place. And that wasn't enough. I got bored at Disneyland after 3 days.. I didn't here.
That was the quickest 7 minutes ever! It's amazing how riveting it is watching two people talk about something they're passionate about, even if the subject is something I personally have no real interest in. Love it
Another fascinating journey into Smithsonian land.
.hoooooh! Love those NASA bomber jackets, this baby blue, and the other in mustard? Can I have one?😂😂😂
Did this narration sound a bit more lispy? or is that just me? haha, not judging, I love my loonytunes.
I thought the same thing, like he had a lisp
Whatever, the guy is out there delivering content to you.
@@MrJames_1 I wasn't judging. Just saying, I kinda liked it haha
Brief disclaimer this has nothing to do with this video-
What happened to Savage builds?!?! What happened to Mythbusters Jr?!?!? There are never any replays of your T.V. Shows on T.V. Can they not afford you? It seems like a quarter of a million-dollar Iron Man suit and Lazer tag airplane dogfights aren't priceless unless the content is available for viewing pleasure. Just thought I would ask.
P.S. Third Comment
The problem is soft earth. The ground that the buildings in San Francisco are built on is mostly clay & rocky loam, which tends to compress under the wait if the buildings.
I love this series so damn much, we have been saving for years to have a big trip out to Washington, DC solely to see the musems and specifically the Smithsonian array of musems because what an amazing freaking place, so thank you so much for this awesome series going through all of what they do and how they make decisions and everything it really has been one of my favorite things this channel has done.
So engaging, I really know nothing about building and scale stuff, but how Adam asks questions and just hearing and seeing his enthusiasm, you just get sucked in no matter what kinds of things they're talking about. Getting me all excited every time!
I'm really feeling the "You don't know how it will be until you actually see it in full size", and especially concerning graphics!
I normally design for screen, but I recently had to design for print, basically for the first time: a 4.5m x 3m (+-15 x 10 foot) banner for a convention booth!
I was terrified all the way through the design process, partially because I had no way to practically guage it's size and spacing, and I still don't know if it will actually look OK... We'll find out in about 2 weeks when we arrive to set up the booth! :P
If you did your do-diligence correctly, everything should go well. Spacing is all relative. If it looked good proofing it on your monitor, most likely you'll be fine! Good luck!
@@grafitea Thanks! :)
I just hope things aren't *too* big/crowded to properly look at from nearby, and also that the colours are correct! :O
Where did Adam get that awesome jacket? Any links? I need one too
i want adam to have his own tv show where he gushes over things like a huge nerd
I thought it on the previous video Chris Emo was in, but he bears an uncanny resemblance to Harry Shearer
I could watch shop tours all day. It always makes me feel like a kid.
Did you do all this in a day????? How there is to much to see!!
We did all the Smithsonian Exhibits interviews in one day, yes. It was a CRAZYYYYY day!
That man's shirt is incredibly wrinkle free
Pretroubleshooting - troubleshooting - troubles.
i love that "me too!" moment XD
Don't forget everything comes alive at night lol
Adam needs to come out to Bass pro in Springfield Missouri and visit the design cruise that make wildlife look real and see what it takes to make wildlife exciting
Adam mentioned a pic of the Mercury mock-ups in storage. Can we see it❓🚀
I`m more curious about whats in the basement not on display. Maybe the arc of the covenant ?
I worked for a private company (alongside my brother) that did the same thing Chris Emo and his co-workers do - and let me tell you, it's very rewarding work. We designed/manufactured/installed exhibits at the Glenbow Museum in Calgary, the Vancouver Aquarium, The RCMP Heritage Centre and a few other smaller jobs. My brother is now working at the Royal Alberta Museum in Edmonton and he's got the same job as Chris Emo.
Kindly ask them where they hid the bones of giants. Thank you
Loving this series you don't know how much work goes into it
Great handshake to finish things off
This is the best series ever
Loving this mini series
Is it me, or has Adam sounded a bit strange on the initial voice-over for this series? Did the sound person get the speed wrong (a bit fast)?
Fracture I heard the same.
@@Chace957 Perhaps there is more Helium in DC? ;-)
Chris Emo, best last name if you're going through emo phase
Do you use a different method to record in-situ and talk-overs for videos? The "talk-over" and the beginning of the video sounds a bit "nasally".

Outer space is not what we have been told! The earth is not a spinning spheroid as there is no motion or curvature. Ever try to get closer to the moon? It moves away from you like a rainbow
Outer space requires special effect artists to continually make props and sets to fool us into the narratives they spoonfeed us
