I’m not an aspiring marine biologist, but this subject is very fascinating and interesting to learn. Thanks for the lectures💕

Thanks a lot for these videos! After you graduate, it is not easy finding free courses to help get work in the Marine Biology Field. Trying to become a whale biologist so anything helps!

I'm in year 11, but I've heard this field is currently very competitive so chances are you will only be able to pursue the best of it with the best stats (good GPA, good scores, etc).
But don't let it stop you, if you love this topic then I'm sure this will not be a struggle to you. Good luck!

@@Anonymous-hv2zc do you think a degree in marine biology or marine science would be best,, and what type of grades should I be looking to get at GCSE (im currently year 11)

@@rachaelskipworth3787 I'm sorry but I wasn't familiar with GCSE but I googled it and its a general certificate of secondary education which means you achieve this at 15-16 years of age if I'm correct? Please correct me if I'm wrong, however I think you 5-9 A levels. Considering marine science is now somewhat competitive, you'd need to aim for a 7 or higher. You especially need to ace the science section. Again, im not familiar with this so if I sound crazy I apologize but you need to be higher than average but if you can't aim the best of the best then don't kick yourself over it. I also recommend looking at colleges/ universities that have the marine science you want to pursue and examine their requirements and if you can't find them email the schools admissions officers for more information on the requirements. That itself should give you an insight one where you want to aim academic wise. . .hope I helped!
