    She seems like one of the most aware CEO's I've ever seen. She knows her brand, her audience, and how it'll work like the back of her hand. So cool!

      Yes! She managed to see beauty from a different perspective and succeed. Emily got mondo biz sense.

    The people that don't like Glossier are the people who don't understand the beauty ideology of Glossier's. They cater to people that love the natural look and that loves effortlessness.

    Why isn't there a link to Glossier or her blog in the description? Time fails at TH-cam culture.

      Well, they sure didn't miss out on all their own details up there-great job promoting themselves! Maybe this isn't to shill her products but because they know if they make a video about her or Glossier, people will click.

    but the skin tint shade range though... the shade deep is definitely not deep, please expand the shade range!!!!

    • @Maddie-dq3gp
      @Maddie-dq3gp 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Adia Roos the tint looks lighter in the bottle and the model is lighter but when you rub it into your skin it adjusts to even very dark shades

    • @Kokilovesreno
      @Kokilovesreno 6 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      It’s honestly doesn’t matter the tint is so sheer you can make it work

    • @hpieces
      @hpieces 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      its very sheer so its not like a full coverage foundation where you need a perfect shade

    • @discogoth
      @discogoth 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They expanded the shade range in summer 2018- there are now much deeper shades than they originally had, and the formulas are much better! That being said, as others brought up, finding an exact shade of Glossier products doesn't really matter because it's just a veil over your skin. My body is a lot darker than my face so I use a darker Skin Tint and Stretch Concealer, but it doesn't give that "spray tan, caked in darker makeup" look that wearing a foundation too dark gives.

    • @Dark-uk4oz
      @Dark-uk4oz 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    a brand for people with no acne

    • @wendyberrios5957
      @wendyberrios5957 6 ปีที่แล้ว +38

      Why? Why can't this sheer coverage brand be for people with no acne.
      I think that may be a problem with how we perceive acne than with acne itself. I personally think people with acne are just as beautiful as people without acne. It's all in the eye of the beholder.
      Besides, high/full coverage make up has been proven time and time again to be detrimental to people's skin, especially those who have acne. It's sad that as a society, we care more about how our bodies/skin look, than how healthy our bodies/skin are...

      Wendy Berrios like I have acne now and again and I love glossier because it makes me cute even when I do have acne. I love the natural looks 2.

      I have severe eczema on my cheeks and acne on my T-zone. I am a very red girl. Glossier is for people who just want to smooth things out a little but don't necessarily want to look like an airbrushed goddess. Plus, the stretch concealer does cover most blemishes, even for me. But the skin tint also allows your skin to breathe, so you're not just caking on heavy foundation and concealer all the time, thus irritating your skin further.

    issa pyramid scheme

    • @emmerz22
      @emmerz22 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      No, but there are “reps” who have coupon codes. They aren’t pressured to buy thousands of dollars worth of products up front and then do their best to sell them. They also aren’t pressured to collect more “reps” to sell more products. There’s not even an option to become a rep evident on their website. Mary Kay is a pyramid scheme. I’m not a rep, but I am a devoted fan of the skincare products. And Boy Brow.

    • @theblackmoonofghost
      @theblackmoonofghost 7 ปีที่แล้ว +40

      Are we looking at the same person? For me her makeup looks very natural, you can see some blemishes on her skin, she definitely wears mascara but no crazy overblown smoky eyeshadow on her lids, even the lip color is so toned down; and this is coming from someone who doesn't even wear makeup everyday.

    • @bbghoul8488
      @bbghoul8488 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The point is that women can wear as little or as much makeup as they want. The founders makeup has nothing to do with the brand's market or quality of the product, her words do.
