Have you read Josephus' book The Jewish War? It provides an account of the Jewish revolt against Rome from 65 to 70 CE. Thereafter there were many Jewish revolts against occupiers of the Land of Israel the last occuring between 602-628 CE in the Sassanian War. The Arab invasion followed in 634 CE. The Jews notwithstanding maintained their presence in the country which has always been the focus of their national redemption. You can fact check if you like.
