hello, my requirement is - given the total demand and due date as input, the solver should tell which machine should produce which SKU on which day. basically a day wise production planner to meet the demand and due date. can you tell me which software/tool will be suitable for this?
Suppose A is header material and B is raw material under it. In mrp1 view of B material is MPS and A material has PD (Regular MRP) . After Mrp run taken for A material it is generating PR for B, but we want to use MPS against B material
Can you check with option 1 for MRP Dep. requirements in MRP4 view of the header material.

Thanks for the video. as MRP run, MPS run look same, why SAP gave separate txns ? Any Idea ? Why cant all be part of MRP run ? The output also look same. So whats special about MPS ? Got these doubts :) But thanks a lot for sharing good info.
MPS works for materials with different MRP types M1,M2.. that are not supported by MRP. In case you want to plan those materials separately.

Hi Sir, i have a small query. As you said the planned orders with in time fence will be firmed automatically, the *marked planned orders are not with firmed checkbox activate. So is this a wrong behaviour? should the check box also sctivate automatically?
Explanation is in the video itself if you have watched it completely. Anyways, planned order with firming indicator created through MPS will not have the checkbox. It appears only if you modify the planned order manually.
