Regarding point 5 at 13:35 : Doesn't commutative-ness and unity properties of the Ring come from the multiplicative part ? So, it's a commutative ring with unity because 1 is unity with respect to multiplication modulo and also multiplication modulo is commutative with respect to integers ?
