Its a shame songs and artists like these go under the radar but I guess thats what makes them unique, If they were mainstream we'd probably get bored fairly quick. Some talented composers out there.
David Hartley “Bergersen’s compositions have featured in many motion picture campaigns, such as Avatar, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Twilight Saga, The Chronicles of Narnia, Harry Potter, Da Vinci Code, The Mummy, The Dark Knight and hundreds more.”
@@Luxord93 Well, yeah. But they're not exactly *well-known*. I mean, how many people can you name that immediately recognize Thomas Bersergen? :/ Edit: changed a word's format.
My grandpa died recently, and this song was about the best thing that ever happened to me. It's a piece of heaven, and reminded me that that's exactly where he is.
A wonder piece of music that truly shows it in its purest form. I for one believe Thomas Bergersen is an excellent composer and has made various melodies I enjoy listening to on long car rides, while I fly (yes, I am a student pilot) and whenever it gets too quiet. Unlike the rest of my generation caught in horrible garbage, this is the true music here!
Wow, stunning. I can't believe the emotion this song has, even without lyrics. I brought this album a few years ago, listened to it again today and this one really stood out to me.
This song intensifies my feeling of loss. However, it also reminds me of the persons and beautiful memories that will stay with me forever; forever inside my heart. Thank you so much Thomas for making me feel like this.
+chris conrad .....its probably bad i cried when i first saw it XD idk about you, but i heard this saying some time ago: "It is ok to cry, it just means you have been strong for too long"
+Vinyl Scratch crying is a strength. it proves your heart can break. a broken heart is stronger that one that cant break. its stronger cas it can rebuild itself.
God this song made me cry. Honestly if i ever got to make a movie, all the music would be from TSFH, (with their okay of course.) Example.: This song, epic death...
FlyingFocs I dont have enough faith in Hollywood to do a tender moment right, and I dont want this song associated with some stupid sex scene. Like I said, I just dont got the faith to trust Hollywood with such a thing. I could trust them more with a character death, and/or the aftermath of it.
Tracker947 Ah, good point. And yeah, I share that sentiment completely. It might just be me, but I feel that this song, and all the other songs on the Miracles album to an extent, are more sooted for moments like, "gazing at the stars in the night sky with your first crush" than anything sexual.
This song reminds me of when a huge tree dies in a forest. Once so majestic, the mighty has fallen. None can believe so strong, so immortal a thing could perish. But what it left behind is a beam of sunlight, a trickle of hope. Dozens of young trees sprout in its place, when they never could have before. Death is necessary for new life to occur. For us to have life, the greatest, most majestic, most perfect one in the universe must die for us. His name is Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He died for us, that we may have life. "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." Amen.

Miracles is such an emotion-filled album. I love it, cuz it contrasts their normal epic battle stuff very well.
By far my FAVORITE album for sure! :(
That's how heaven sounds like...
+Korax Sciurus INDEED!
+Korax Sciurus it is.. i know.
This whole album sounds like a heaven. So light, soft, bright songs. Sounds like spring or summer.
This music is like kitten walking with their soft paws. Very sensitive
Damn, I clicked on this completely random, and suddenly I was listening to some of the best music I've ever heard.
almost all the music from the Miracle album are best
I discovered this piece 2 weeks ago.... now I find myself wondering how on earth I’ve missed that beauty

Wow. Perfect timing for this somber, yet somewhat uplifting song.
Rest in Peace Robin Williams....
this piece just stopped the storm inside me for a short time
One of the most amazing ambient piece by 2steps.

Always been one of my all-time favorites from TSFH. Love this newer version!
I hope this song is tribute to Robin Williams...
Rest In Peace now Robin Williams, we will miss you
it is :)
It isn't. It was already part of the planned album. Besides, it would have been way too difficult to compose at such short notice.
of course it wasnt made as the tribute to him :D but they chose very appropriate time to release such beautiful song
RIP in pepperonis Robin Williams
Nope, many of the songs of this album are remakes of classics from TSFH. This song is.
Coincidence. This song originally appeared in Illumina I think, a while back. RIP though.
Robin Williams, we listen in remembrance of you. You will never be forgotten.

Wow....This is My Little Pony Remembrance Song too.... and I like This song....
Yep
I enjoyed reading the interpretive comments and accolades for this uniquely beautiful song. I found it on Amazon Music only a few days ago during a search for similar music. Until I read the comments here, I didn't consider it suggesting the last moments of this life with "eyes closing," but that is a great and likely interpretation. For me, the sound of the piano is nostalgic, giving rise to a dream (with eyes closing) of a memory of a wonderful relationship revisited.
I don't ever want to be a part of the world, but I do want to face it. This music makes me feel like I should face it.
This was already one of my fave songs by TSFH :)
I know a lot of folks stumble in here because of the Remembrance video, and its really well done.

Let's just say it's difficult to write a paper while crying my eyes out. For once, I had to turn off TSFH while doing work.
On a side note, why isn't the Solaris album listed on twostepsfromhell.com?
Kevin Jin That's because Solaris, while a part of the TSFH catalogue, wasn't written by Thomas or Nick. All the tracks were penned by Alex Pfeffer and released under the TSFH label.
Zbynek Novotny Ok, thanks.
It was the 2014 when I was listening to this, and here I am now, 10 years later, wondering why everything has changed but me.

This song is so peaceful and soothing. But for some reason, it sounds like it would be in a movie like Finding Nemo or maybe even when Finding Dory comes out.
There's nothing wrong with that.
There really isn't. It's such a relaxing song.
If you had to choose between friends or forever…
What would you decide?
Choose what your heart wants and everything else will fall into place.
