I totally feel you on the family only for the first birthday. I didn’t do that but we did family only for the first 2 hours then my daughter took a nap and we invited some friends over later in the day for cake. I’m also only doing a 1st bday, 5th bday, 10th bday party for all my kids. It’s just way too much stress to do that every year especially once we have multiple children.
Definitely reading out loud works, the word of God will set a beautiful and inviting atmosphere in your home and the baby will definitely hear the word of God even if yet he is unable to comprehend. His faith can be build through the power of the holy spirit

My husband and I rarely get sick and literally this year we got hit with covid and then sick from just the flu and it's been like a month then we been bouncing around sickness between eachother.

Also, side note… my party planning is very similar to yours. Small, intimate, non stressful and I also made an Amazon list 🤣 nothing wrong with it and I don’t think it’s bratty at all.
The amazon wishlists are my favorite holiday idea for kids! We have three boys and I keep an ongoing list for each kid as I see things they need/ want and if someone asks I send them the list. They have 3 sets of grandparents also and all of them shop from it at Christmas and it's so easy to avoid doubles of things and know they're getting exactly what's needed. Bellamy's party sounds like it'll be so cute. 🍄
I totally feel you on the gifts! People LOOOVE to buy baby things, but sometimes it just ends up being extra stuff that we don’t use 🤷🏻♀️ for my sons first birthday we requested books! (Of course mama and dada got him a special toy ;) And I’m so glad we did it that way! Also, if it’s any encouragement about bellamys naps, my son didn’t start taking longer than 30min naps until he was 10ish months old. And even then sometimes he needed/needs resettled. And we did not do any sleep training. You’re doing an amazing job Mama! ♥️

Hi Celest, quick question, my Gabe is about to be introduced to solids. What high chair do you recommend? What's the one you have? Does it fit in small spaces?
When my kids were teething they got rosy cheeks, runny noses, drooling & even had more earwax plus loose poop. It definitely messes with their sinuses. Love the plans for his Birthday. How is Bellamy almost a year old??? He is so precious! 💖🤗

What espresso beans do you use? Your shots look soo good! I got an espresso machine it’s hard to get good shots figured out!
