As I was watching this, there was something's he didn't do. His looked like it was still boiling, and not more like a slightly thick caramel. Also the color was different, just to name three things I had noticed.
Pls I think I overcaramelized the sugar while trying to melt the clumps of it, and I burned myself twice and failed my first attempt in making the candy... Also I did make a perfect one in the first attempt but while putting it back on the countertop it broke into pieces, I didn't get the chance to even try removing the shape out of the candy 😀💀
Lol yeah I got lucky I got my kit from Amazon before Squid Game came out because I thought it looked fun after seeing Fuslie make some. I checked Amazon recently and prices have doubled
@@ArumWaharatri i mean dalgona candy is traditional candy and is way ahead before squid game, of course theres a kit for making dalgona before squid game
For the ppl that don't know, the whole point of u trying to cut out the exact shape is so u can win another one xD In theory if ur super skilled enough u can have unlimited dalgona for the price of 1 hahahaha
Dancingbacons is literally like that warm cup of hot cocoa you get after a super stressful day that just comforts you so much. The way it is filmed we aren't watching or listening to anyone telling us about the food, WE ARE the ones enjoying the meals. Thumbs up if agree.
@@Aea92 we had a real horror story about boiling sugar back in culinary school. a higher class had a whole stock pot of sugar melting away. one of the students needed to check on it, so she lifted the lid. due to steam, she got surprised and stepped back, accidentally pulling the near boiling sugar pot and drenched her legs completely. had to cut her pants off coz they were sticking to her skin while waiting for the ambulance. yes, sugar is no joke. that thing boils hotter than oil @_@

I remember seeing this candy game before squid game from a Korean food Channel called Maangchi. Interesting to see that people are now talking about it.
Waiting for season 2. 😁. Gi Hun licking the dalgona candy was the highlight of the show that made me laugh 😅, but it worked I doubt he had 8 mins of time though🤷♂️
I think, maybe if you put a baking sheet on top of the metal tray it'd make things easier. Once you press the candy, just lift the baking sheet and set it aside to wait for the candy to cool, and you can make the next one immediately in the meantime if you want.

Considering what the show comments on capitalism, that's blissfully ✨ironic✨.
it's because of the demand the factory can't keep up with the people so they need to increase the price i think

I'd get that kit just for that little copper pot! It's perfect for making small batches of candy.

Seems very fun and exciting for those who like the series and those who want to try the challenge out for themselves!

Thank you for this video - you even showed all the techniques used in the show… Most videos don’t even show you how to carve the thing out
First person on TH-cam I’ve seen make it first try and it didn’t crack while moving! Nice!
satisfying to see you succeed on the first try at making dalgona, from what I've seen it looks simple but difficult at the same time
I find amazing that there is a kit for everything where you live!
Dalgona Is Always Fun...❤️✨
...except in the "Squid Game 🦑" (if you break that *honeycomb candy 🍬* when you're about to shaping it with just a needle/toothpick yet...
