I am reading this Amazing book now, found it & a sidewalk sale. Sadly, not much has changed, the mindset is still the same of trying to live in 2 🌍, acceptance of "fate", religion & mentality, I went to a SE Asian film festival, the area seemed as if it wasn't even in UK, excellent analysis & t/y Monica Ali!☮❣💫
