Something that helped me when I was having horrible anxiety to the point I couldn't get out of bed was counseling. I went to a christian counselor, because I am a christ follower, and she helped me so much. I noticed I was having nightmares, getting sick easily (immune system was weaker because of not wanting to sleep), etc. She gave me tips to cope with it such as sleeping with a cold rag on my head, doing things that are enjoyable, working out, and journaling what I am grateful for! Hope those nightmares go away soon, and you can relax a bit more!
Something that has helped me with nightmares- its so hard but try not to read books, go on your phone, watch tv in bed. Do it on your couch. Bed should only be for sleep. When you start bringing other activities into bed the boundaries are blurred and your mind starts associating sleep with what you're reading or watching. Similarly, if you are tossing and turning from stress get out of bed after 15-20 min. Same thing here your brain starts associating your bed with the worry and anxiety. The concepts are used in insomnia therapy, but ive also found them helpful for nightmares.

Ugh! Mouth ulcers are the WORST! I get them when I’m super stressed. For nightmares, I’m lucky I’ve learned how to be a lucid dreamer. I can have dreams that most people would consider nightmares, but I can manage to somewhat control them. But I learned this at a young age because I’ve suffered from insomnia a lot. Don’t forget to slow down and have days where you can veg on the sofa under a warm blanket with your kitty snuggled with you. You need to sometimes restore the batteries. Good luck and I hope you get some good sleep and try giving yourself a suggestion before bed-that can work too-tell yourself what you want to dream about before bed and very often, you will (or a variation of it).
with your nightmares it’s so random but i suffer bad as well due to personal reasons but sometimes if i have too much dairy before bed, particularly milk or cheese these sometimes trigger a nightmare, so if you’re having dairy products before bed that might not be helping. hope you’re okay girl and they go away soon, nightmares are the worst thing ever!! 🤍🤍

praying for you, for the nightmares and mouth sores to go away too. When i get stressed/anxiety I get nightmares and the mouth sores too. Just know that God is with you and He cares.You can talk to Him about anything! He tells us to cast our anxieties on Him cause He cares. God is in control
About the nightmares, I’ve heard that that is a symptom of burnout! I had one a few nights ago and I woke up in much of the same way. I definitely think that stress is something to do with it, because I have had a bunch of school college stuff on my plate too! I don’t have any remedies for it, but I just thought that was interesting :)

If I can offer anything about the nightmares is to journal about them. I journal before I sleep and if I wake up I journal them and that helps me. I don't know if it will help, but that is what I do.😴

Nightmares happen to me when bad stuff is happening in my life. I often find that when I Google the meaning of the dream it usually relates to the thing I’m worried about. One time I dreamt about trying to escape from a shark by climbing on these rocks but I kept slipping and falling back in and I’d see this huge shark silhouette turn to face me again… so scary.. I worked out it was because I was running away from confronting someone at my workplace for something that was bothering me

IIRC you started using pre work out and or creatine? That can cause really vivid, realistic nightmares. Sleep aids can also cause the same issue (eg I have to watch how much Valerian I have).
So I don’t know how into this idea you’ll be, but! CBD oil has stopped me from having nightmares, I have similar anxieties and trauma. I started taking a drop of CBD in the evenings for chronic pain and to help me sleep but it’s also had the added benefit of stopping night terrors I was suffering with!
if ur having nightmares , i had them really bad but don’t go to sleep hot !! you need to be cool , a bit chilly and if u sleep w a mirror in front of ur bed it’s bad that causes nightmares ever since i covered my mirror everytime i slept i don’t have nightmares anymore’
