I have experienced the same thing when I was younger... what I want to say to you is don’t listen to those people that make fun of you. You are already an amazing and great person there is nothing wrong with being shy and quiet. Please believe in yourself, because in the future the people that make fun of you won’t even matter anymore. I wished somebody told me that when I was younger. And yes I am still shy and quit but it will get better in the future. Talk to someone about it or try to get help for it. You are not alone! & I truly wish you all the best 💜

    Has anyone here felt that sleep helps us escape anxiety, even for a while? Most of the time I would sleep for long hours just to escape the feeling but I would still wake up tired.

      Ohh every time. My mom calls me lazy often because she thinks that I can't simply wake up or I am slacking. But I just don't wanna wake up and have no will to do anything, even my favorite things. It's a constant fight in my mind about every damn thing and as a middle child, it just makes it worse.

      Yep, I love sleeping, I don’t like being woken up because then I go back to feeling anxiety as the default feeling in my body from the time I wake up til the time I fall asleep

    I was severely traumatized years ago as a teenage, got diagnosed with ADHD. Spent my whole life fighting ADHD. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.

      I'm so very happy for you, Psilocybin is absolutely amazing, the way it shows you things, the way it teaches you things. I can not believe our world and our people shows less interest about it's helpfulness to humanity. It's love. The mushrooms heals people by showing the truth, it would be so beneficial for so many people, especially politicians and the rich who have lost their way and every other persons out there.

      YES very sure of Dr.alishrooms. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, BPD and addiction and Mushrooms definitely made a huge huge difference to why am clean today.

      Yes he's Dr.alishrooms. My daughter did straight shrooms in few days. Made her whole! after words, no more addictions, pains, ptsd and depression. It helped us.

      You do still have your life it may just not feel like it, when you have anxiety whichever type it is, you question stuff lots, such as social anxiety, you will not even wanna step foot outside, and other anxiety which scares you to do other things. it's all natural, if you ever do feel scared, just close your eyes, take deep breaths, and remember it's not forever.

    When I have an Anxiety attack, my heart is racing really fast, I'm all sweaty, my stomach feels weird or nauseous, I want to puke so bad, my body is twitching, my body feels hot and cold at the same time, and I'm having a hard time breathing... Yeah, I'm pretty much felt like I'm dying or some shit.
    I'm suffering from this since the beginning of this pandemic.

      For anyone struggling with anxiety, or just someone who wants a way to calm themselves down I would really recommend looking up “wim hof guided breathing method” on TH-cam (it has 10mil views so u know it’s real). It has helped me a lot with my anxiety. I would also recommend trying meditating, there are also great videos for that on TH-cam. Remember that no matter how bad things are, they will get better.

      no you are important don't let thoughts or feelings like that ever get to you. It may be hard not to but i promise you you will get through it you are not alone. Listening to music, meditation, and praying for strength helps. I know I can not make you do anything but you can if you just know you will overcome anxiety. Just because its hard now always focus on the positives and not compare yourself to others or focus on negative things. Know that it will get better.If people judge you know you are important and just becouse some people dont like you dont forget there are also people in your life like family that love you more then you may think or they may show. Please keep going and don't give up. today might be hard but just by trying and not giving up it will make it better.

      Hello can you help me out, I had persistent dizziness in November last year then nausea. It just kept getting worse and I didn’t know it was anxiety for the first 3 months and I became bedridden.
      My symptoms
      Nausea
      Dizzy
      Numbness in limbs
      Pins and needles
      Dry mouth
      Muscle pains
      Heart rate
      Heart palpitations
      Blood pressure
      Ear pressure
      Bad breath
      Cold hands and feet
      Stomach trouble
      Acid reflux
      Bad dreams
      Vision problems.
      These symptoms happen at random they come and goD
      I had all tests done under the sun and they couldn’t find anything wrong with me.
      I tolerate the medications very well but don’t seem to work
      I was on lexapro 40mg for 6 weeks and it didn’t work
      I’m on 3 weeks on 100mg Zoloft now but no improvements. The persistent dizziness is the worst.
      Do I have a rare disease or is it actually anxiety???
      Doctors keep saying it’s just anxiety.

It isn't much in the grand scheme of things either, and the people that are there you probably won't see them afterwards. I'm about to be a senior and highschool is not as bad as they make it seem. It has its ups and downs like everything, but you'll be okay :)

    At age 55, after 27 years of mental health recovery, the truth in my mind is that I suffered from anxiety at age fourteen. Wasted almost half my life but now I can help others and that makes it all worth it! 😇👍♥️

    First thing
    1.Stop thinking that u are going to die.
    2. Think that it is just a heart palpitations not a heart attack
    3. Keep urself busy and stop overthinking
    4. Add walking to ur daily routine

      Hello can you help me out, I had persistent dizziness in November last year then nausea. It just kept getting worse and I didn’t know it was anxiety for the first 3 months and I became bedridden.
      My symptoms

      So true. I've always had a problem aligning who I was to who I know I can be. It all changed when I realized that the information I was feeding my mind was crucial to how I was. Once I changed it, I changed.

    I’m scared of singing infront of ONE person, I’m scared of spiders, I’m scared of unreal monsters, siren head ect.
    I’m scared of hights, I have negative thoughts controlling me and saying bad stuff I have to deny 24/7. The slightest noise and I will get scared. I’m scared of the dark, being alone, being locked in a room and can’t unlock it, dentist, tooth fairy, I just can’t help it. I don’t know if I have Anxiety or if I just got scared for life when I was younger...
    I listen to this song called Anxiety and I absolutely LOVE it, it makes me feel better.
    I cry whenever an animal, a human, or something dies... especially my pets, dogs or birds.
    I am scared of talking to the whole class or saying prayers in front of ONE person, I’m scared of hurting myself, putting my foot out in open when the rest of my body is in a blanket, I’m scared of standing infront of a crowd, if I come out last 5 or if I win a game, I start to freak out and my heart beats fast, I also start to feel warm and scared.

      Me to but I have one major thing that can’t really be related to my moms ex was a alcoholic and a druggie he was drunk a lot and was almost always partying he lived with us one week after they met and 2 weeks in she realized he was crazy I almost was never home and tried to be at my friends house a lot to avoid him but now that’s he’s gone I’m always worried he’s gonna show up

    The part about PTSD really hit home for me, unfortunately its not that easy for those like me to 'get they life back' as my last therapist said it was a lost cause and my current doctor has come to the realization of 'thats just how he is' at this point

    I am still suffering from social anxiety. It is hard to talk to people but ones they start to talk I also feel nice but sometime I can't answer them.
    There is a story which I want to share as I haven't told it to my family yet!
    As a student in school. Well, now I am in 6th but at that time I was in 2nd class there is my one friend we were in school bus on our way to school. He said to me that I am still not good at English. I said that, “I think I am perfect (while hesitating)” Then he said “I will ask you a que you have to answer it the que he asked me was Who are you? ”
    Suddenly I felt that I have no knowledge I am just a dumb girl. Who can't talk to anybody. After thinking all this I answered him “ I am a gentleman” and he laughed tooo hard that my heart started to cry I heard my inner voice saying you are nothing you have no purpose to live. These are my feelings that I teel to my family and they don't understand it now sometimes when there is no one the silence put tears in my eyes 👀 I hate being in the world.

    I know it's an emotion very difficult to express but in order to get out of it need to start doing things you think your super scared of, step by step inch by inch. Little steps towards it will make a huge impact on our mental health. it's easy to say but very hard to practice, I acknowledge that but that's how you need to start.

    Dude. I am SO social. I love parties and get togethers. Most of the time, when I’m at them, I am the LIFE of the party or the center of the attention. So I don’t have the anxiety most of you folks describe. I have the kind of anxiety where I either want to run away as fast as I can or simply lie down. I’m not anxious about things or people. I have an anxiety that comes on for no reason at all. I just lay down in an “aura” or a daze. Waiting for it to end with a brain running a million miles a second diagnosing myself with all the worst case scenarios. It’s awful lol… but long showers help and sleep does too. My attacks come along with a weird sense of vertigo and a pressure like headache. If anyone can relate. Please let me know. It helps so much to know that this is somewhat normal. I take zero medication for it and avoid caffeine/nicotine… but I don’t know, man.
    Sucks feeling this way. Hopefully it leaves me alone one day. Much love to you all. I feel for you. I understand you. And I want you to know that YOU ARE OKAY. This will pass. Just relax. Take a bathe. Take a nap. Scroll thru TikTok haha. Just relax. Love you. Endless ❤️❤️❤️❤️

      Have you tried marijuana? If you’re of age I mean. It allows me to set those nervous, anxious, and scared thoughts aside. Also try frequency sound therapy, especially at night. Search 33hz tones and 528 hz tones. The 33hz tone rocks me to sleep and I usually wake up well rested. You’re soul is hurt and needs to heal, then the mind will heal, and continues onto the body.

    I am always anxious over the important meetings or places and specific time that I need to get to. I can hear "why are you worrying, it's not that hard" or something. But for me it's true horror, I am always looking at my phone, what time is it, thinking of me being late and stuff like that. While I also think that I won't find the right place or do something right... And with that I feel so worried and that causes me too much distress, I can't rest properly and won't stay happily for some amount of times, that feels really bad...

      Know that no one can change the past nor the future. Those thoughts don’t serve you well. When you have those thoughts it throws your body, mind and soul off. I was the same way and didn’t think it was possible to stop but it’s mostly gone away. You could also be feeling other people’s feelings. Clairsentience...my example...I could be at a funeral for someone that I don’t know and I’ll cry like I knew them all my life.

I don't understand what's wrong with me, i have social anxiety for sure, but i have tried mini things to overcome it and it's not like that I have been having it for a long time. I got it when I turned 14 (adolescence idk) . But another thing that I do is i constantly dream of myself doing this doing that, becoming this becoming that, all of these are happy moments and i just dive into these imaginative memories for hours . It really screws up my present and I usually am unable to anything else and ultimately I waste a ton amount of time In these thought

    I was diagnosed with anxiety 2 years ago, it started being triggered by work stress now I think it’s more social anxiety as I just want to stay at home and be anti social. I worry about everything. My doctor only refers me to the well being team. I’ve had 2 lots of therapy but talking to a stranger can be hard when I’m at home with no privacy. Ears are always listening

    I've been undiagnosed for a long time. Now I've been doing something about it now that it's been happening multiple times a year. I'll admit, that I've still got a LOT to learn. Had a breakdown just today, but there are people willing to help me through it. Sadly it's not a one size fits all, but the sun will shine again someday.

    Even with my friends, I get shy, with my family, I get shy, I bearly go outside my room, my grandpa died, I stay inside my room for a whole time, I feel like everyone judges me when I’m having a conversation with them.

    Another thing common in people suffering with anxiety is that "they are not successful" I've seen this with myself too. I'm 28, I've a troubled past of child abuse from my maternal aunt I've been living with as my mom had passed away, I left their home and went on for higher studies and I did great in my initial years and no such feeling of anxiety crossed my mind but in the succeeding years when I did poorly in my studies, this troubled past came haunting me and I'm still trying to recover from it but I'm 110% sure as soon as I will get successful this all anxiety will vanish like fog.
    So please focus on your career/work and become successful as they say nothing succeeds like success.

    Good video!! Important for others to know how to identify...anxiety becomes a norm even for common things like talking in front of people or taking a test. But that is just also a brain pattern habit. Knowing how to addrss subconscious programs allows one to go beyond coping skills to eliminate the source of anxiety.

    My anxiety is so different . From this video…. I get nervous like not just regular nervous but nervous nervous nervous about regular things BUT my anxiety is taking over and making it even worse. Rn after this video I just thought what if I don’t have anxiety bc I didn’t relate to this and my mom, therapist, person who diagnosed me lied to me? That just got me so nervous my hearts pumping and I feel like I got punched in the stomach? Plz tell me if this is normal to feel bc I don’t relate to any thing he said only a bit in the beginning.

      Hello can you help me out, I had persistent dizziness in November last year then nausea. It just kept getting worse and I didn’t know it was anxiety for the first 3 months and I became bedridden.
      My symptoms
      Nausea
      Dizzy
      Numbness in limbs
      Pins and needles
      Dry mouth
      Muscle pains
      Heart rate
      Heart palpitations
      Blood pressure
      Ear pressure
      Bad breath
      Cold hands and feet
      Stomach trouble
      Acid reflux
      Bad dreams
      Vision problems.
      These symptoms happen at random they come and goD
      I had all tests done under the sun and they couldn’t find anything wrong with me.
      I tolerate the medications very well but don’t seem to work
      I was on lexapro 40mg for 6 weeks and it didn’t work
      I’m on 3 weeks on 100mg Zoloft now but no improvements. The persistent dizziness is the worst.
      Do I have a rare disease or is it actually anxiety???
      Doctors keep saying it’s just anxiety.
      The physc doctor told me I have acute anxiety

    It's absolutely heartbreaking when you actually wanna be an extrovert, have lots of friends in your life, be popular & loved, be confident & badASS, but your nature just doesn't let you be what you actually want to be!
    I am an introvert with social anxiety & how I wish I was everything I am not & I am popular only inside my own head. In reality, I feel pathetic. I wish I could just have some confidence & thicccc skin to deal with real world. Sad!

    Anxiety for me is just this constant state of feeling like something bad is going to happen. Even when the occasion warrants that I should be happy and content I can't bring myself to fully enjoy it because I am suspicious about calmness. I'm so used to functioning in unpeaceful conditions that anything that looks remotely peaceful will be met with scepticism. It's really a sad place to be in.

    I don't know if I have a anxiety but this is how I always feel when something trigger in me.
    If there's a certain topic that I would never want someone to talk about is SCHOOL.
    Everytime I hear the word SCHOOL I always feel like it trigger something I side me that it makes me feel weird and everytime school gets into my brain every night I just can't sleep,I try to always avoid talking about school or future, ever since 7th grade(I almost failed 7th grade.) I had always had this feeling in me, it scares me to the point I can't stand 1 missing homework. It trigger and make my soul shake to the ground, the feeling that it gives me can't be described by words.

    This quarantine fucked me up. I can’t sleep anymore, I constantly want to throw up, I constantly have headaches. I’m tired of crying every single night because my mind just won’t shut down. It feels weird it’s like i just want to be in an empty beach at 5AM and watch the sunrise while taking deep breaths. Everything fucked up my happiness. I can’t stay in silence doing nothing because silence is the loudest part for me. God I am so mentally sick. Am I getting punished for all my sins? I honestly would rather to die. I wanna live, but not like this.

    I just want to get this out there:
    Anxiety ruins lives. I get nervous about simply ordering at a restaurant, going to the restroom or I just don’t live my life to the fullest. This causes other issues like depression. Also my anxiety has a getting distracted 24/7 symptom. If I didn’t have anxiety I would probably be so much happier, and I wouldn’t have to take anti-depressants at age 13. I would love for anxiety to go away so I don’t leave to live in fear for the rest of my life for no reason

    i have a social anxiety.     Everyone has anxiety sometimes. Most people just say they do because they think it’s cool. If you have anxiety your probably quite shy and worry about random things that usually aren’t a big deal. If your stressed about something you don’t have anxiety. Everyone gets stress but people with anxiety get anxious about anything. For example, If you talked to someone you might not be the best at saying words, you probably feel a bit scared after and you probably have anxiety.

      It’s basically just an overactive nervous system and brain that is always doing the brain’s most important job which is to make sure it keeps you alive sometimes anxiety can get to obscene levels and you actually get afraid of your bodies reactions to fear and then it’s just a downward spiral And you end up in an ambulance going to the ER because you think you’re having a cardiac issue or what not it’s tough very tough

    Almost everything in this video explains me I’m always scared to talk to people ,friends and family that’s why I’m always alone but my parents always shout at me because I’m always in my room,on my phone and never speaking to anyone all they think is why am I always on the phone they don’t even think why I’m sitting alone or almost forgetting everything so easily and always overthinking and I’m always an awkward person so no one actually want to be my friend whenever I try to friend someone I always think “what If they think I’m annoying and they don’t want to be friends with me? What if I’m ugly and they’ll bully me? What is I’m way too fat? What if I’m a wired person? I can’t have friends... and I’m always scared to do something like what if I walked on the stairs and they fell? What if I tried cooking and I burned something? That really hurts me and I’m just 12 I can’t enjoy my life anymore...

      I can relate to you... I’m just trying to figure out if what I feel is “normal” or if it is actually important. I feel like everyone hates me and I’m annoying. I feel like everyone is judging me but also that they don’t even care enough to think about me. I get very stressed about things that are undetermined, and I have to plan everything that I can. If I don’t know about something I will worry about it. If I have an assignment due I will turn it in too early to “get it over with” and also do too much work on it just to be sure I’ve done it right. At this point, I work very hard in everything, but the only thing I can be proud of is my grades. I have no social life, I’m pretty good at dance I hope (I have been dancing for 7 years) but I feel like I’m terrible. I just don’t understand myself. I feel like I’m too sensitive.

    Whenever someone is looking at me, I always panick. I feel they are judging me and I don't know how to calm myself up. I hate whenever someone looks at me cause I always think they are judging me and I don't wanna be judged. I'm also a thin and has a curve back and my family always teases me. They always tell me to eat more or straight my back more but I don't know how and I hate myself for that. I'm also a person who gets mads easily and I hate myself for do that. I always yell at my sister and I hate myself doing it, But I don't know how to stop. I always try to make things perfect but I always screw up and I always pressure myself always.
    I'm mentally ill for the past few days. I hate myself now.

    A little suggestion to every one here: I have anxiety and I battled it all my life. When the Lockdown started my anxiety got so much worse I had to see a doctor who prescribed me Anti-depressants which helped me soothe my nerves. I lost my job, My GF, bunch of my friends during that time but I learnt something.
    Most of us, I believe, don't have anxiety that should be interfering with our life. Our terrible lifestyle makes our anxiety much worse.
    Stop smoking(cigarettes and Marijuana especially), drinking (alochol, tea coffee or everything that contains caffeine), doing drugs, resisting sleep, eating junk foods, being on phone or laptops for countless hours, being in toxic relationship and not opening up.
    Start
    Working out, eating healthy, reading books, talk to parents or loved ones, meditation (most important), facing your worst fears and talk pointlessly.
    Some of it may feel stupid but trust me most of the books on anxiety ( I have read at least dozen) suggest these things to overcome your anxiety and funny enough they help.
    Anxiety can be a blessing or a curse depending on how you use it.

      I'm in the process of this. Constant suicidal thoughts and tendencies.
      I always say to myself if you just commit suicide right now all the pain you are feeling constantly on a daily basis will go away.

      Bruh honestly, I had a few weeks where I felt a little su1c1dal not too long ago because quarantine got to me and life just kind of felt useless, but at the same time I got really anxious thinking about dying because it will just be an eternal void and that's fuckin horrifying and then I felt even more like life is useless and felt even more anxious and ... you get the problem :')

    I have anxiety I’ll hear one sound and get scared I’m scared of the dark I’m scared to have one foot out my blanket I’m also very sensitive I cry easily if someone tells me to shut up or be quiet and I get nervous easily...😭😢

    I know for a very long time that im not okay, not myself and i cant be actually. I just keep losing my self once i step out of my room. I don't wanna even show up and walking in the streets. I feel uncomfortable in all places, i cant be comfortable with friends, i cant stand talking to people for a long time. I thinking about every single detail that i cant really live in the moment. I keep checking what day is it and what hour is it before any appointment. I keep standing behind our building door like 2-3 mins before i actually leave and walk in the street. I searched today about anxiety and i found this. For my whole life i was wondering whats exactly wrong with me. Now i knew. I feel relieved that i knew its a one specific problem : having anxiety. But i feel bad for myself and i really hope it will get better one day.

    Hi welcome to my ted talk, so I normally stay in my room so I don't get mad because anger issues I can't really do face to face reactions unless its someone I'm super close with, like family I can, I don't like eatting infront of people, I hate being downstairs at night and the doors be unlocked I don't really like being downstairs alone at all, when I go to order food it has to be drive thru, I get nervous when talking to someone face to face mostly other guys, I don't know what I have exactly, I think I have a type of anxiety but idk which one, I get anxious over my friends, when they say dumb stuff like taking the own lives. It sends me into a panic attack state, and I try to calm myself down by calming them down and making sure there okay, can someone from like a out point perspective help, I am more comfortable with females, than males, I feel like if I do the wrong thing there gonna beat me, and it scares me to the point where most of my friends are female..
