Well Organised, good to watch,Keep up the good work Ireland
Finest music festival on the planet!
I love seeing the children playing instruments and dancing, rare to see young kids in England learning Folk Songs and Dance. We learnt it at school but it's gone out of fashion? I'm part Irish and English combined, I feel I'm missing my right arm watching this. Everyone should learn about their music especially, good for the soul, wherever you're from.
absolute beautiful to see our culture. i live in the town and i couldnt be more proud of our little town and the amazing and wonderful week and fantastic talent it brought out.
For the first time in a long time the weather is good for the fleadh thank god for the good weather 🙏
Wish i was there, brilliant
Great to see everyone out and enjoying themselves after that awful covid and remembering the lovely and very talented girl aishling Murphy
@ 7:14 it gets real bad. They need A LOT of practice keeping in sync.
How I loved the 9 years I spent in Ireland 🇮🇪😍❤ my heart is still there!!
Great to hear. Hope your keeping well, wherever you are now(the fleadh was great btw)
@@jamesarmstrong5937 I enjoyed watching all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦. I really miss my friends and the culture!!
Formidable et magnifique ! Merci beaucoup !
Whilst not being an out and out Traditinal Irish music fan, I do appreciate the format and young and old talented musicians and dancers on show.
A lot of talent with the Irish

Great to see the town looking so good. Fantastic video, I have seen other clips from different areas of the town. I hope someone recorded the music from the Cathedral.
Wonderful video…keep our Irish traditions alive.. Many thanks to everyone who took part in this video.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇮🇪💚 🤍 💛☘️☘️☘️.
Looks like so much fun! I can’t wait for Wexford!
Excellent thank you for sharing
So looking forward to this years Fleadh 🎻🪕
Thank you so much for sharing
All the yooths playing music is good to see
My Eire! 💚
Real music .
Парень гениально танцует
That's my former manager, Phillip the GOAT
Excellent video
Nice. I do prefer it when the dancers keep their arms still.
The first person doing Irish dancing was my dancing teacher
Super, i love it👏👏👏
Where wil be this festival in Ierland next year?
I like to go there ! 😊👏👏
Thank you for the answer 🙏🏻
Glad you liked it! its will be in in the same town, Mullingar. The festival is usually held in the same place for two consecutive years 😊
Fantastiskt roligt ❤
Great young talent ! Means music isn't destroyed by rich buisnessmen !
Keep your arms still, river dance has alot to answer for.
Great event, it's pity everything was so expensive. That was a reflection on the poor crowd turnout mid week.
😍
The little girl in the back lol.
the secret to this dancing is a red hot pepper placed in a certain place..
1:22 do you know what's tune she playing?
Not quite sure. I have the full video for that melody, I will share it on TH-cam in the next couple of days 😊
Up the gar
Am I missing something because I am not that educated on Irish dancing but I thought they would be a little less moving to me it almost seemed like tape dancing please educate me but I did love the video just a little confused about the dancing
It's post-Riverdance 'contemporary' Irish dancing, so yes, it's not traditional. Traditional is much more conservative with no arms flailing about.
@@musashidanmcgrath oh okay thank you so much for clarifying that for me ☺️ now I can understand the difference and enjoy it more thank you have a beautiful weekend
@@musashidanmcgrath that depends on whether it's step dancing or sean nos dancing ( truly traditional). Straight arms only required in step dancing.
Lovely place,lovely folk,unless you're English)
English people have a great time in Ireland, lots of them here at the fleadh in Mullingar
Some good stuff compiled there.... I'm not fond of purist trad jigs and reels. Good stuff. Guitars should be left at home though🤔
@ 7:14 it goes terrible. Practice practice practice girls!!!!!
Wild Rover must be the only song they know. If I hear it one more time I'll do myself in. Tell me where this town is so I can avoid it like the plague.
Maybe you should listen to the many other great tunes in the video instead of just focusing on one song you don’t like😉
what racket..
That's the worst case of restless leg syndrome iv ever seen.
It's done by inserting a broom handle into the rectal passage ...at least that's what it looks like.?
Bien gay , le premier.
..the stage irishman is alive and well....painful to listen to perhaps
Hating the modern dance.
I have a profound dislike for Irish music... I'm from and live in Mullingar and like many others, got out of Dodge before this rip-off noise festival arrived.
I salute your courage Anthony. This stuff is grand for tourists whose notion of Ireland is based on The Quiet Man . They don't realise the awfulness of Life in rural Ireland....
@@2msvalkyrie529 Nonsense. If you prefer the city best of luck to you, it's true that rural areas have suffered with the centralising of industry in the cities and the smaller holdings being put out of business by larger more industrial farms, but go away with your judgements and 'Quiet Man' blether. I'm sure you're very 'cosmopolitan' yourself, but I can tell you having lived and worked in many places that there's good and bad everywhere
You've just gotta laugh at these Boghoppers. Silly beggars the lot of them.
A lovely people with a lovely culture. Life is short. Enjoy it instead of being angry. Soon it will be over and how will you have spent your allotted time?
a noisy lot...
Wanted...urgently...barber...Ireland... great potential...two million men...in need of a hairstyle...
Got to love the Irish
