Mad respect to Maya for helping her elderly neighbor and recognizing that he’s doing his best. She doesn’t have to do these things but she willingly chooses to and I know him and the animals really appreciate it. ❤
"They're paid actors" hilarious, perfect explanation I understand 10/10. Also so cool to hear some of the back story of the breed!! Love livestock guardian dogs and Anatolians especially are so pretty ❤
Eric is a good man, and you can tell he loves all his livestock and his livestock guardians! When I had a barn, I didn't need a LGD as I only had 3 goats (and all our horses could take care of themselves lol), BUT if I had needed one, I would have tried to find someone like Eric. He really knows his stuff, and I bet the dogs that come out of there are some of the best LGDs you could possibly want. (Also I'm convinced that all geese are just rude af, but I might be biased because I've only ever dealt with wild Canadian geese, who opt to take a handful of both birdseed AND hand when I'm out feeding birds)
Geese can actually be pretty sweet. Depends on how much handling they get at a young age. I have some geese, and mine are all pets. So they are handled young and are pretty nice. I try to handle my chickens and geese if i get them young enough. I have rescued older ones who are more stand-offish, so I just give them their space, and they are fine with that.
Geese are lovely. Of course they are very protective around their babies when something much larger than them and potentially dangerous comes around, they are just scared.
Eric's land and animals are beautiful and you can tell how much heart he puts into taking care of everyone, thank you for lending him a hand Maya! community is such a beautiful thing, we have to stick together and help each other when we can!
I love the two creamy doats chillin on that stoop, they cannot be bothered 😂 And when you think about, of course geese are that aggressive: they have such cute and vulnerable offspring, they gotta be able to protect them
thank you!!! It's super thoughtful of you to help your neighbors and... yes thank you for braving the geese to get some audio of the baby pilgrim geese lol
So I know livestock guardian dogs of the breed Eric has are extremely valuable and well documented, but that story he told about one of his dog's ancestors killing a mountain lion or something sounded familiar...I wonder if Tobydog from Gold Shaw Farms came from Eric's farm lol
Lmao I see the funny, but Morgan doesn't want a killer. He just needs a chill, big borking Floof to protecc, not attacc. And he has stated such in a video before, kind of as a reply to the story of the guardian dog that killed a bunch of coyotes
maya’s neighbor, she helps him w his farm bc he’s old and lives alone iirc, maya has made some videos in this farm before, also i think this is the farm fanfan accidentally trespassed into in her visit lol
He raises and trains livestock guardian puppies from a couple reputable breeders for specific farms, and if i had his job I’d have to keep one every couple years too😭😭😭 it’s like training service dogs or police dogs i couldn’t do it! mayas trying not to get her hopes up but i think they’re totally gonna end up liking her like the last ones did lol
He's had some recent medical issues that affect his mobility and has asked Maya for help every so often, and seems like they talk regularly so she's in-the-know about his appointments and plans accordingly

Ba-zinga
baaah
No he’s THE DOAT 😂
I'm glad Maya clarified cuz if she tells me an animal fact I'm believing it.
I'm just smiling the whole time.. This is like hanging out with the cool uncle, thanks Neighbor Eric!
I never thought about Guardian Dogs puppies needing to have training spaces like this! Thats actually so cool to learn about!

The fact that geese “hiss” is astounding to me
Evil Cobra Chickens

The contrast between baby goat/llama vibes and geese vibes are insane… nightmare creatures

I like geese but that was some crazy hissing
imagine if they're like 10x larger and yep, that's what the cretaceous was like.

I love seeing these videos with Eric I really hope maya involves him more regularly
The spin-off we didn’t know we needed
Oh to be a baby goat snuggled with another baby goat on a stoop taking a nap in the sun 7:13
This made me realize I could never defeat a horse sized goose
thank you!!! It's super thoughtful of you to help your neighbors and... yes thank you for braving the geese to get some audio of the baby pilgrim geese lol
Maya its nice of you to help , big hearted woman !!
The hissing sounds like the hand dryers in the bathrooms
We love Eric
the hissing is surprisingly loud! i never knew
Eric sounds like Leslie Jordan and it’s making me emotional
the eric content is my favorite
Every time I hear the dog's name, I wonder if he got Katla from the Icelandic volcano or from the Swedish fantasy adventure Brothers Lionheart.
Maya is just playing Stardew Valley irl
Hey Maya, love your work, much love from Tasmania
The geese just wanna protect the baybeeees
These snippets from your stream are so nice
Whoa I had no idea Eric’s farm was strictly made to train his dogs! Never even considered that as a thing.

Can someone give me some lore on who Eric is?
Maya's neighbor. He's cool.
To add, he's the same neighbor where Peewee and Tripper (the baby goats) came from.
maya’s neighbor, she helps him w his farm bc he’s old and lives alone iirc, maya has made some videos in this farm before, also i think this is the farm fanfan accidentally trespassed into in her visit lol
