Fun fact: when I played through World 9, I got REALLY angry with most of the levels, but when I got to 9-7, supposedly the hardest level in the game, I beat it in my first attempt. MY FIRST ATTEMPT!

I remember when me and my brothers would play this game when I was in 5th grade, I never completed this game to 100%. Since I completed Mario Bros. DS and Mario Bros. U Deluxe both to 100%, i am determined to complete this game to 100% as well, on my own, 4 years later since the last time I played this game.
If you came through every hidden exits, collected all the star coins, AND bought ALL the things that needs to be bough in Peach's Castle, then you finished the game 100%. By the way, you can just simply go back to world 1 or 4 then play the first level. It's really the quickest way (besides using items) if you want to get Prop or Peng Mario. Just a tip. Using a penguin powerup in 9-7 can make your life easier. You can use it in getting star coins with less pain.
World 9-9 (New Super Mario Bros. Wii) World 9-9 is the ninth and final course of World 9 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii and the last one overall in the game. It is unlocked by collecting all of the Star Coins in World 9. This course features the background and rainbow theme from World 9.
Okay something not explained. You MUST have all Cannon Levels Unlocked and Cleared to get the true prize of infinite Toad Houses. Then you can grind items till every single one reaches 99, which does include Super Stars!

when you get 99 lives, which is the max number of lives you can get, you loose your hat. when you beat mega bowser you unlock world 9. when you get all the star coins in a level, you unlock that level in world nine. ex:get all the coins in world 1 unlock first level in world 9. simple. good Job to this guy. I only unlocked level one In world 9!!

For anyone wondering, if you have 99 lives, Mario takes his hat off. The easiest way to get 99 lives is to go into world 1-1, there is a mystery box with a propeller in the middle. Get it and fly up to the platform. Go into the red ring and get the coins for one life, then go to the end and jump down on to the wheel. Wait for the tube and sit in it but DONT go down. You'll go to the wall and there will be a secret room with a ton of coins. Get all the coins, and there is also 3 secret mystery boxed with 1 ups in all of them. Then go out of the room and go back to the wheel. Go to the left where the yellow pipe is and hit the bricks, a 1 up will come out. Then finish the level by hitting the top of the flag pole. Do this over and over and you'll have 99 lives in about 10 minutes. I think there's a tutorial somewhere on TH-cam so if you have no clue what I just said, look it up.
Nice vid, but try completing world 9 without propeler suit, already gotten all 5 stars(100%) on my profile in the game, but at the end i tried doing it without the suit, its wat more difficult, which i liked because i like a good challenge and i was pretty damn hard, Propeler suit is OP lol

I completed all of world 9 in a month 9-1 to 9-3 took about a week (off and on about 30 mins each level) 9-8 took an hour or 2 over 2 days 9-5 took about 3 hours over 3 days 9-4 and 9-6 took about 4 or 5 hours each over a week 9-7 took a total of over 12 hours to complete and, when completed made me cry
i managed to complete 9-8 in like a few tries AND get all the star coins in one go so im hella proud of myself for that, 9-8 is actually a fun level if yk what you’re doing and shit
