Seafood "Legim" (Legumes Fruits de Mer)

"Legim" is one of Haiti's most beloved dishes. In Haitian cuisine, "Legim" is an all day event. It is usually made in a large pot and serves many. This dish is a comfort food for many people, myself included. It is not uncommon for Haitians to argue that their department or the area where which they come from in Haiti, makes the best "Legim".
