I totally messed up there, and then our incredible video editor Jeremy made it totally worth it with two sneaky lil Chrises popping up during that section 😆 -David
Great sounds for each song! I've always loved 6/8 worship songs, too! Ever hear "Easter Song" by 2nd Chapter of Acts? They put some 5/4 measures to make it very interesting and dramatic also! Yes, I'm an old musician! 😁
My favorite album of theirs has got to be the live “How the West Was One” record, w/ Phil Keaggy and a Band called David. No misses across the track list! I have the original vinyl and it’s a treat. -David
Hi, I’m using only one amp JBL speaker. How do I connect everything? I got ck88 Yamaha piano 18i20 scarlet audio interface As of right now, I use usb to connect piano to my laptop, then using usb to connect laptop to audio interface. And I plug in cable to audio interface output 1 to my JBL speaker. So far there no sounds coming out from my JBL Speaker, I can only hear it through my laptop speaker. What’s the issue? What am I doing wrong?
His solo live stuff is also quite different than his studio version. I think he mentioned here and there that some of his latest influences were Royal Blood, which is more hard rock than pop rock :) In that setup the keys are taking a step back to the profit of strong E-git parts :D Would love to have a preset that encapsulate the style of his last live album! If you have a suggestion of 4-5 sounds to combine to get there... ;)
If you bring the drum loops collection to the SK iPad app you won't have to beatbox 😂 and will make SK app THE ULTIMATE SUPREME KING OF IOS APPS!!!! Please 🙏
hi! How do I get in contact with your company please? I recently purchased a years license that came with a 14 day money back guarantee. I'm unable to download the sounds and I'm getting no response to my emails with customer service. How do I go about getting my money back please? The emails are unanswered and the only phone number I can find says its not monitored
HI Joanna, I've taken a look in our customer support software and it looks like we got back to you right after you left this comment. We typically respond to support requests within 1 to 2 business days. Thanks for taking the time to engage with us there via email! We appreciate you.
An interesting video. I think you're on the money attributing "feel" to "swinging" the 6/8 of "Graves Into Gardens" vs the straight eighth notes of "Gratitude". Brandon Lake finger picks the first part of the song straight, no matter which live performance with different groups that you choose. For the rest of it, that's more a matter of "production" or "arrangement". I'd argue that when you are doing a song, ie selecting the patches etc. from the App, you sound like "David", ie your own style. I've heard others, as far back as Paul Baloche, argue that a lot of worship music was influenced by Cold Play. Regarding Bandon Lake's solo songs, look at "That's Who I Praise". To me the production of the multiple Keys' parts is closer to what Phil Wickham's production is like. Just a subjective opinion.
I’ve thought about going more specifically into the solo stuff. Brandon’s been super open about how big of an influence Switchfoot/Jon Foreman have been for him too, and they’re one of my favorite groups! Would love to try and peel back some of those layers. -David
We love the beatboxing! I do the same but hum the melody at the same time!
I love the beat boxing to keep your timing. I like it.
Haha, I immediately regretted it during this shoot, but knew it would make the final edit! 😂
-David
The beat boxing made this video 😊. Great work David, best yet, love the tips keep them coming
Aint no way you made a channel 32 mins ago just to comment on thsi video 😂
Haha. No, i just modified my handle. But thanks for checking on me
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for taking the time to comment!
-David
I like the beatboxing! I think that in my head when I’m playing too.
I knew I wasn’t the only one.
I had to double back. You mentioned Chris Tomlin twice 😅. But I don’t blame you, I love his music too😊

I do think we’re in the early stages of a hard swing back to guitar driven tunes 😬
I just couldn’t get the sound ark be beefy with the ipad. I had better sound with the Mac book. Do you think it was maybe the mix? It sounded so thin
In Sunday worship software, will styles works ??
Can you do a video on that topic

Can we have gateway worship
Good suggestion! Well consider that for sure!
Sounds like the music while waiting in line for Space Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland
🤔 lol!
What mic do you have? When you start singing your voice has so much softness to it…rather than when you’re talking?
It’s a Rode shotgun. We’re eq’ing and adding verb for those little singing bits.

Hmm interesting, did you email the right info?

For ableton?
All these sounds are available in all Sunday Keys formats :)
We don't do the min6 at the end of Gratitude. Apparently it's "jazz" Lol
That’s truly depressing to hear.
But you are technically seeing @jonasaras
No, I merely "have ears to hear"
We don't either 😂
It’s a long song already, so I get why some may not hang long enough to even need it. When you hit that min5 though it’s instant Coldplay!
-David
I think the proper term is sounding “Phil Wickhamese” 😂
When those two guys collab they reach their final forms 😂

So many of these people with zero theological accuracy.
@@naptastik mmm, you’re so edgy!
