With Seventeen, if you want to know who choreographed the dance, that's easy, that would be the members of Seventeen. With Hoshi taking the lead as designer the majority of the time. Seventeen are known as one of the industry's only self-produced idol groups. Which means that the members are the ones that create everything themselves. Hoshi, who is the leader of the performance unit (dancers) creates the group's choreography along with input from the other members of the performance unit -- The8, Jun and Dino. Woozi is the leader of the vocal unit and he writes and composes Seventeen's songs along with assistance from the other members of the vocal unit -- Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, and Seungkwan. And S.Coups, who is the leader of Seventeen and the leader of the hip-hop unit, writes the rap sections with help from the other members of the hip-hop unit -- Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Vernon. "Falling Flower's" choreography is even more ridiculously amazing, when you realize that they created this all themselves.
@@forseventeen1711 Yes, I did not mean to imply they do it solely on their own. Of course they look to others for advice and pointers and they collaborate with others. But it's worth noting that the majority of the time it all starts with ideas from the Seventeen members and then they take those ideas and expand on them with help sometimes from others.
@@milindawilson9175 I'm not blaming you or anything and I'm sorry if I'm making it sound that way, really 😢 Carats gotta stays together 💎🤝 it's just that, I have met some hardcore carats that strongly stated "why SVT is called self-producing idols? Because they creates everything themselves". Now, it's not completely wrong, it's something that we have been so proud of them since the beginning and can't help but shout to the world *my carat's heart deul🥺* but then new fans showed up and later on notice that they also got helps from others and not just only among themselves and then discouraged to become official fans saying then they're not that talented and I was like arghdvb%%%jcjh *inside only, gotta stay away from causing problems* Good things they are not in the fandom, it's just sometimes we don't make the full statement so it could be misleading somehow to new people, but still we are proud of them nevertheless and held our heads high for it
Seventeen is mostly self-produced!!! In the way that Woozi writes and composes most of their songs, with the help of a producer, Bumzu, Hoshi choreographs most of their dances, but Seventeen also does have help from their choreographers, they have at least two I believe, the ones who created this one was Yu Seunghyun, who’s choreographed stages for groups like NCT Dream, and Choi Youngjun, who was a dance coach for Produce 101 and Produce 48 kpop idol survival shows. And Hoshi of course! It’s always Hoshi’s influence that takes idol choreo and elevates it to fit Seventeen’s sheer size and ability to create amazing dance images out of them. When they split into units for b-side performances, it’s usually when Hoshi will choreograph with just his members, but I think it’s important to note that outside creativity was also a factor in some of their title track performances! But ultimately Hoshi gives them that particular Seventeen style they do so well. Thanks for reacting, their Japanese releases always have a special place in my heart!
3:42 the choreographer of all SEVENTEEN songs is HOSHI/KWON SOONYOUNG. He is the leader of PERFORMANCE TEAM. The other 3 members of PERFORMANCE TEAM also lends a hand on doing those choreographies❤ STAN SEVENTEEEEEEN❤❤❤❤❤
since nobody has pointed out. Hoshi ( member in black/blonde hair at 5:04,8:23 he takes part with creating lots of SVT choreo ) explained somewhere that the hand move at 4:50 you were talking about is actually a petal/sakura/flower that is flowing in the wind which they try to catch but fail to (see that they "let go" ) but at the very end they finally catch it ( see they hold their end pose with a closed hand) i must also add...now kungkungkung is stuck in my head everytime they do their hand move hahaha
The "absolutely genius" is Hoshi 🤭✨... He is the main dancer and coreographer. Usually I have seen that when he wants to try some different concept he works with other dancers to build up the formations but yeah he is the genius ❤️❤️✨ Idk if you have seen don't wanna cry, I would recommend it if you want to keep with this kind of uniques formations and coreographs or thanks
Seventeen is the kind of Kpop group who focuses a lot on the visual element of the performance knowing that they have 13 members including very beautiful blockings and seamless transitions. One reason why an audience, maybe a dance enthusiast or ordinary viewer gets easily fascinated, never sees any so called dead-air in between their performances is because their choreo and impact is executed even with the smallest details of the song. They give emphasis by showing intricate hand movements, head gestures, etc. What makes it even more beautiful is that they are all graceful in any manner for this specific kinds of songs. Thank you for reacting to Seventeen.
I wanted to ask for a specific song but I can't choose one. Seventeen's songs and choreographies are all sharing the top spot, so I'll just ask for more Seventeen videos. Thank you for reacting to Fallin Flower
Thanks for this reaction! I fell in love with the Fallin Flower MV....and their live performances of this... ^-^ You definitely have to see this with the costumes and stage designs and props, plus aerial cam view... ^-^
if you pay close attention to tge detail of their first hand movement and their last hand movement, at first they failed to catch the flower/ they caught it but didn't keep it in their hands. At the last part they are finally able to catch it and keep it in their hands ❤ they're absolutely performance genuises 💕💕
You should watch their bside choreos too! They rlly are diverse. My ultimate faves are No F.U.N, My I, Fast Pace, Without You, Moonwalker, Shining Diamonds, My My, Light a Flame, Lilili Yabbay....Home is a must-watch! Well, all of svt choreos are tbh xD
For Japanese song choreos, Happy Ending is another great one. "Heaven" (choreo vid only), is an incredible dance by SEVENTEEN and Nu'est usually overlooked by reactors.
If I'm not mistaken, the main choreographer of this dance is Choi Young Joon. He is a well known choreographer in SK who appeared as a trainer in Produce 48.
Please make a reaction on Dino's Danceology too, he is the youngest member of Seventeen and part of the Performance unit and he also make the choreography some of Seventeen's dance
i’m stream of consciousness commenting sorry but if you get the free time to check out their performance videos or MV on your own (as a lot of official Japanese releases tend to get blocked on YT) you can see aerial shots of their flower and circle formations and it’s even more beautiful to see

fallin’ flower is the most beautiful song and is also aesthetically pleasing to both ears and eyes 🥺💖
Fallin Flower is art

Let's not forget to give credits to other choreographers working along with them and our dear homie Bumzu the co-composer of Pledis
