Hi. Thank you for your question. I hold it usually upright but that’s not what makes the footage steady. I walk with my knees bent a little to reduce the impact of the vertical movements. @@serhiobc thanks i just got my osmo yesterday and i will experiment ..its all fun .Idecided to wait for go pro 8 when the audio mod comes out and see reviews untill then i will have fun playing with this one and still use my other go pros and panasonic gx85 and vxf1 handycam cheers

I use the Tilt Locked mode and a controller wheel to control the pitch.
