  • For surfers, nothing else compares to the feeling of catching a wave. That's one of the reasons why enthusiasts surf as often as they can. Surfing is way better of a workout than going to the gym, but the downside is it is very muscle specific. I have to train outside the water to balance out the muscle usage so I don’t get tendinitis, repetitive motion injuries, etc. I used to surf twice a day every day, and I learned my lesson the hard way. It took a while to correct the muscle imbalances I created over years of surfing.

I Had To Make This Account yes, it may be obvious, but it's not official until it has been properly studied, documented, and peer-reviewed by multiple reliable sources. Without these things, your credibility is worthless.

its blatantly a good physical workout i.e paddling, using back and shoulders, neck muscles etc and the obvious popping up using arm and hand strength and then riding using hips legs and probably every muscle you can imagine... do the people assessing this actually surf themselves hmmmm ?
