Hi Danny and Wanda, I don't have oranges yet but I sure feel the pressure to do something with the sweet potatoes we ( me and my husband) raised two giant wheelbarrow's heaped up and running over of sweet potatoes. Some of these sweet potatoes are large as basketballs. I uses two for Thanksgiving and we ate for a week on them. Good luck that is a ton of vitamin C. Jessie from Arkansas

My electric juicer skims out the seeds and skins and is SO much easier for juicing big amounts of citrus. You could save a lot of time and wear and tear on your hands. I would use the antique glass juicer just for an individual glass of juice. That hard candy Wanda made would be great for soothing a sore throat.

That is a great idea to freeze dry the orange juice. If you juice your own oranges it should keep more of the vitamins than regular store bought orange juice. All you need to do is add water back to it.

May I suggest a slow masticating juicer. There is a YT channel called Discountjuicers with John Kohler. You can learn all about these juicers there. You can jiuce anything in these juicers while preserving your hands and at a much faster speed. Citrus you'll need to peel them, but I much rather quicly peal an orange with a sharp knife just to take the outer peel.
    Hope this helps 😁
    Keep up the good work
