This was so helpful!! Thanks for sharing ❤

It looks like you do a lot of things together with your whole family. We do too. About 1/2 of our day we are learning all together.
I love that you even read some of the books to us. So helpful and thorough! Thank you! 🥰
I love how you break down everything and this is very helpful, it give me ideas for the future.
Thank you for hosting this collab, Abby!
I love the My Year of Writing book! What a great way to encourage creative writing 😊 I love to see all the different ways that people incorporate different resources into their days. Thank you so much for sharing!
Morning basket goals! I tried to not go overboard this year since I am doing my first year of homeschooling with a kindergartener so we both need to get accustomed to everything. We have been doing a Bible study, sing a song of poems, missionary study, and laying down the rails. Next year, I plan to add in “enrichment” with artist, composer, and poet studies. Love your curriculum choices. Thanks for sharing!
Love this - especially how you said you gradually built up to everything currently in the basket. Thank you!
This was very helpful. Thank you.
I absolutely LOVE that you are doing the collaboration!!
Do you have a link for the wooden clock/date board? I love that!!
Thank you!!!! ❤
These are some very helpful tips I will try to implement into our in the future ❤
Just filled our morning basket yesterday! ❤️ so fun! Loved this walk through, Abby!
Thank you! I have just started and it seems like I need to just build in those little breaks (or the coloring, etc). I was just telling my husband earlier that I suspect I need to do that for the younger ones - and you beautifully confirmed that! 🍁🍂
Thank you so much, I love Charlotte Mason and have been trying to incorporate a bit more of her ideas/teaching methods in our homeschool.
I have been looking at the "feast" and it seems very overwhelming but you broke it down so nicely and an hour is doable.
We currently follow a very traditional school curriculum ( I am South African so we need to follow the states curriculum) but I want to try and see if I can not modify the teaching method and still follow the state guidelines. We end this school year in 6 weeks so I am starting to plan for next year.
Going to check out your planning video next!
Checking in to see if you all are safe! ❤
@@RootedinRest We are so glad! My 10 yo daughter and I watch your videos together and she prompted me to ask. Thank you for replying back to me. :)
What are catechisms? Not sure if that’s how you spell it.
Where did you get your calendar for the younger kids? I love how it is all contained, including the clock!
Do you have a video about your morning menu or info/pictures in another video?
Love your family subjects! When do your kids do their chores? Sometimes I feel like chores get in the way of starting school...
Where’d you get your calendar?
Abby- I love the Bible journaling idea. What a great way to get our children in the Word. Also do you think Laying Down the Rails is a good fit for a 9 and 13 year old? Thanks for the collaboration.
I like your breakdown for Spanish better than my own. 😂
Just curious, as a general rule, what time do you try to start morning basket?
Do you have a link for your little kids calendar time? I've been looking for one that's simple like that!
Where did you get the morning exercises book?
Do you plan to reuse Sing a Song of Seasons every year? or at least twice?
Here's mine! ☕ th-cam.com/video/zncMbMs2bFU/w-d-xo.html XO
Would love to know where the wooden calendar is from! 🤍
