I served with Lorry Cole in 11 Field Ambulance when he first came to Australia. He was a funny bloke. Well seasoned. He used to instruct the unit in counter insurgency exercises
I would love to know if any SEALS ever tried out to join the SASR, mainly due to what they get paid as a SEAL and based on the rank compared to the SASR, which as a average is around 100K as a starter, let alone when you finished the 2 years and your a specialised SASR member, maybe advanced medic and sniper or 3 different areas, sniper, medical and Comms, etc, the more you learn and pass various test the more your earn every year and if deployed overseas into war zone and shipped out to doing tier one activities, then you get even more cash, danger payments basically so around 200K per year pro rata. :)
That guy is wearing the rhodesian brushstroke camouflage not the Aussie one.
Kaolin powder corporal is in Malaysian or Rhodie cams.
Those were the days, army didn't supply you with cams so you got supplied your own own.
Rhodies I guess with that accent.
