@bartdereu lol, a comfortable seat doesnt mean much on a tractor pull !! :-P lol, , what do you mean the truth?, the tractors pulled on a fair surface, there were many previous runs on the strip and the result was as you see in the video, i also, chose fendt first but thats what happened on the day....
@Wyomingfarmer damn right ! Worked for a guy that had 3 ,Puma 210, absolute disgrace to sell something like that. Never knew that 3year old tractors could rack up tens of thousands of repairs, and they only worked april through november! The list of troubles was mindblowing, but, they were very nice looking and great to drive, nearly had me liking Case! a complete disaster though. We even had two of them in the shop at once, on warrnty, but dealer even get pissed off too!didnt wanna cover stuff
no the engines in john deere 8030 tractors are the powertech 9 liter engine built by john deere. Now other engines they use are or were cummins and they also used detroit engines.
All things being equal, and I am not sure they were, it appears that they all performed well, The JD seems to have had the best pull, but the others were right there too. I would need to be there for the whole thing, to really see what happened and how the track was repaired/prepared over the course of the day. Good video, regardless!
If the Fendt softened the ground that would have made it harder for the other two, the sled would have dug in easier and wouldve pushed even more dirt. Fendt and John Deere are the way to go, CNH equipment is kinda finiky
and again john deere wins ;) not suprising when the thing has the biggest engine there, john deere are great for over engineering engine size compared to power, engines tend to be very reliable when kept at standard power
Deere has the highest torque in class.Look at engine specs.They have longer stroke in their engines,and larger bore diameters.They have Cummings build their engines for them,oh well.
Pfff idiotic test ... if you let them pull again, they well all go further again because the soil is plowed to where they stopped the first time. It's logic that the 2nd pulls further than the first and the 3rd further than the 2nd ...

If you ever found a Cummings or Detroit in a John Deere it was put in from some one else. JD only uses their own engines.
