Flat=covers with hot or cold days
Comforter=covers with on colder days
Flat and comforter normally used together with flat layer first then comforter over that.

4:42 I've heard this before and I'm so confused, the flat sheet goes on top of the fitted sheet, then the comforter. It's a barrier between the body and comforter. I would kirk out without both a flat sheet AND comforter 😂

A fitted sheet is the first sheet that goes over the mattress & has the stretchy elastic on the four corners.
