Just a few rapid fire comments: Chloe's "move" on the football field was improvised; all the songs tracks were sung by the actors themselves; Trixie singing while watching her mom cry will make sense in a future episode.
I always took issue with that improv. Lauren shouldn’t have done that because the dude has a wife he just married and I think she might have fumed over another women pulling a Miley Cyrus on her husband.
@@A_Planner_and_a_Dreamer Watch their behind the scenes videos. Lauren and Tom were and always are super handsy with each other even after he got married, have pet names for each other and are often intimate on screen. No harm no foul if they themselves have no issue
OMG. I love the subtle but powerful bit of acting from Kevin Alejandro @9:28. You can see the fear and panic vanish and be replaced with grief for just a moment before the panic sets back in. Everyone on this show was on their P's & Q's. That's why this show was such a hit.
Personally, as someone who does enjoy the musical episodes of shows, I really loved this one for the mix. It really used a wide range of music genres to cover full spectrums of human and celestial issues. The show, as we have probably noticed by now, is really a big statement on how things are so different yet so similar for people regardless of status, gender, background etc. This episode really highlights that with not only the characters in the show but those who watch it. Like when you watch and listen to it you may relate or understand some characters' struggles more than others because of who and where you are in life. To me, that is what makes good film/tv/musicals because we all tend to forget that we walk alone sometimes but the journey is all together.
'Smile' is actually an OLD song. Originally written for a Chaplin movie in 1936, it was an instrumental first. Then songwriters added lyrics and it was sung by Nat King Cole in 1954 (and then many others over the years).
"Tom Ellis is a fucking star".... I've always said that exact same thing about Neil Patrick Harris. Dude can DO. IT. ALL. And Holy Fuckstick did you just make me realize how badly I want to see them in a movie together! Imagine it. for example a remake of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Starring Tom Ellis as Dick Van Dyke's character and NPH playing Truly Scrumptious. Dick Van Dyke could play the grandpa!
A great variety of music for this episode. Love the sunset on the football field at the end of "Another One...". Dan is really trying to process his Celestial colleagues, and now he has to contemplate that he had a tryst with God's wife ! "Another drink over here !" Lol. I think Michael already suspects that God is slipping.
That twerk thing was all the actress Lauren she is funniest of the cast 🤣 it was all improvised also as a musical fan this was just a gift🤍 i loved all the songs specially Wicked game and i dreamed a dream from les mis😭 i cried
"He need a blunt" Suddenly reminded of that one Ancient Internet parody of What if God Was One of Us. "What if God Smoked Cannabis" If God had long hair, and a goatee And if his eyes were pretty glazed If he looked spaced out Would you buy his story? Would you believe he had an eye infection? And yeah, yeah, God looks baked Yeah, yeah, God smells good Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah What if God smoked cannabis? Hit the bong like some of us? Drove a tye-dyed micro-bus? And he subscribes to Rolling Stone? When God made this place, in the beginning Did he plant any seeds? Or did he put them there for Adam and Eve So they'd be hungry for the apple that the snake was always offering? And yeah, yeah, God rolls great Yeah, yeah, God smells good Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah What if God smoked cannabis Do you 'spose He had a buzz When He made the platypus When He created Earth our homes Does He like Pearl Jam or The Stones? And do you think He rolls His own? Up there in heaven on the throne And when the saints go marching home Maybe He sits and smokes a bone
Jealous? In the book he's a straight-up narcissistic, compulsively dishonest, mass murdering psychopath with a severe cognitive disability. Jealousy is the tip of the iceberg.
Remember, nobody decides if you're going to heaven or hell for you, your own guilt determines that. So God can't send Dan to hell, only Dan can send himself there if he dies and is carrying guilt.
I had seen several other react series by the Normies. This was my first with Spidey. At first, I thought he was an "okay" addition, but often too quite. As the videos have gone on, I think he has shown that his quietness was from his insightfulness. The other men are great at coming up with connections to lore, but Spidey pulls together the material that has been presented and makes excellent deductions. Tangent: If I could get my fantasy series made into a streaming series, I totally have a great part for Spidey. ;)
There's no difference. They're all the same "species", it's just God and his wife are truly omnipotent, while their children are more limited. It probably has less to do with there being any actual power difference, and more of it being that God and his wife sprang into existence as-is, while their children had to develop, and just haven't developed that far yet.
Technically your regret would also be the reason you regret it right? So you'd also suffer from all kinds of punishments from the realization that you slept with God's wife every time. You might not even get to sleep with the woman, as the loop might start after it's over.
Also please please stop referring to God as he unless you're referring to God in the show. Look up how talking about things in terms of he or the guys or whatever the boys other than the TV show The Boys is extremely detrimental to the psychology of people who identify with she her hers girls women things like that. There's legitimate research behind it and I'm suggesting that you look it up so that you can see them telling the truth without me spoon feeding you specific sources
It's a glitch. I've noticed also that I'll comment on a video, and later be watching another, and when I scroll the comments, I'll find my comment from the previous video. It's not actually there, but there's just some goofy shit going on. They usually go away on a refresh.

Tom Ellis's reaction is priceless

Favourite part of this episode, Chloe meets God and immediately goes to bat for Lucifer and calls him out.
Nah fr tho, Lucifer's smile when she starts going off on God is everything.

Holy shit Spidey called Just The Two of Us being sang in the episode 😳😳
I was confused for a second why the mom singing “I’ll be watching you” looked familiar and then found out it’s 80’s pop star Debbie Gibson

Tom can act so well at the same time as singing really well too it's nuts
"I believe you met my wife." Dan, remembering Charlotte was Lucifer's "stepmum."
Lucifer is the show that really said what if God had dementia
This episode is so hilarious and emotional! This whole season wrecked my emotions man
I loved this episode, and yes Tom Ellis is a star!
Fact about Dan (Kevin Alejandro): He was a tap dancer 🕺.
That twerk thing was all the actress Lauren she is funniest of the cast 🤣 it was all improvised also as a musical fan this was just a gift🤍 i loved all the songs specially Wicked game and i dreamed a dream from les mis😭 i cried
As soon as i realized this was a musical episode.... I had a blast
Spidey said God need to blow some tree to relax lol
I'm someone who hates musical episodes but loved this one.
"He need a blunt"
Suddenly reminded of that one Ancient Internet parody of What if God Was One of Us.
"What if God Smoked Cannabis"
If God had long hair, and a goatee
And if his eyes were pretty glazed

Hit the bong like some of us?
Drove a tye-dyed micro-bus?
And he subscribes to Rolling Stone?
When God made this place, in the beginning
Did he plant any seeds?
Or did he put them there for Adam and Eve
So they'd be hungry for the apple that the snake was always offering?
And yeah, yeah, God rolls great
Yeah, yeah, God smells good
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
What if God smoked cannabis
Do you 'spose He had a buzz
When He made the platypus
When He created Earth our homes
Does He like Pearl Jam or The Stones?
And do you think He rolls His own?
Up there in heaven on the throne
And when the saints go marching home
Maybe He sits and smokes a bone
In the Bible God is openly jealous xD

Awesome episode😂
This is one of my fav episodes, the musics are perfect choose. The did amazing 🥰
God gave us free will and then steped back.
Is this Lucifer or High School Musical lol I love it!!!
Such a fun episode.... really liked how the songs fitted in with the storyline.
Loooove Tom's version of Wicked Game ❤️
Yes! Just watching it now, wondered if anyone else felt it like I did….so nice.
God created freewill everything on Earth is on us🤔
As far as the fiction is concerned.
Ella got MOVES..
Wicked Game was used in the season 6 trailer for Game of Thrones.
Remember, nobody decides if you're going to heaven or hell for you, your own guilt determines that. So God can't send Dan to hell, only Dan can send himself there if he dies and is carrying guilt.
God created the universe probably billions of years before there are even people to believe in him/it. He/it doesn’t need belief to power up.
"...the TV is on motion smoothing" 🤔😂
This episode showed a draw of trixie were luficer had a horn and red face she knows and she believe luficer is actual devil

omg spidey how dare you dis nickelback (says the last person on earth who actually likes their music)
I need to know what shows they've seen where the musical is the entire episode, and no dialog.
Rana,"This took some big ovaries, for sure!"
Makes me think of the late, great Betty Whites quote about growing balls🤣
yea its called free will thats kinda been a central plot point…
I think y'all will enjoy DEATH PROOF ☠ unless y'all have seen it already? 😏
angels self actualize, god is not an angel as far as i know?
It is implied in a later episode he did self actualize it after talking to a certain someone

Trixie is key........
Believing in God is essentially moving the question of how was the universe created to what created the thing that created the universe
😂😂👍
What happened to Shippuden 363???
Pat's lack of musical knowledge shouldn't surprise anyone as he is the worst of the group. He brings the rest down.
