I believe that if the gaelic dialogues are also subbed, it would be much more easier for people to learn the language, cuz everyone can look the words they don't know in the dictionary right away if they are willing to learn
I am trying to learn the language, and living in California USA there just isn't a whole bunch of places a person can go to get some practice. What a great video. Not only to help me learn the language, but a very nice story as well. I just watched this episode and now I have to find the rest of the episodes. I hope they are all available on TH-cam. I hadn't seen them on TG4, but will look there as well. Anyone know if the seasons are available for sale on DVD?
Carl Love I too am trying to learn the language, my Great grandparents had Irish but when they immigrated they did not pass it on to their children and grandchildren...I’m currently using Duolingo which is amazing but this is even better I get to immerse myself in the language the way it’s spoken
Duolingo is great.. Also go onto TG4 and click on Cula... it's children's programming but really helps out. You can also download them through Google Play. Many people who immigrated to the United States learned English by watching Sesame Street , so we can learn Gaeilge by watching Irish children's programming
Ok, the opening scene in the office alone has gotten me hooked.
Whale oil beef hooked.
Thanks for uploading this, i think it will help me learning the language!!
I’m so happy this exists.

I agree - good point
Aucht-Except....

There was a Gaeltacht in Northern-Ireland?
Gaeilge sounds sinple for Slavic-speaking languages 😎🙂
Grammatically different from Slavic languages, lol
@@Lindormber Phonologically not so much
Táim ag iarraidh an Ghaeilge a mhúineadh dom féin

Ba é seo an clár is fearr liom ar TG4, go háirithe an chéad tsraith. Ní dóigh liom go bhfuil a leithéid ann inniu
The new season doesn't seem to have the same writing "spark" Plots are a bit thin. Tim and Michael were good- They're missed.
Meant to say, Tim and Patrick.
so I tried to learn a bit of irish (since i'm moving to ireland in a few years) and gaelic is.... what the fuck
Conas atá sé anois?
Go raibh mile maith agat
Is an caineal seo an ceann is fearr lion ar TH-cam! Go raibh mile maith agat as rinne tu e! --N
How successful an export do they expect it to be if it is not in English?
Gary Murphy It's *because it's not in English that I'm watching it right now!
Haven't you got enough to watch in English?
Gary Murphy it's not meant to be an export. It's about preserving the language in Ireland.
are you in the US?
do you know where you are?
