What I will say is a personal opinion, nothing more, but I think that the beard beads should be placed a little lower, they should not be attached to the chin because otherwise they will be like an arrow, pointed and raised. They look good when hanging from the beard, not when directed. I would try to leave at least two inches of hair from the bead to the chin and place it in the middle of the hair, not tight on the chin, I bet it shows. better. Also add that you must be able to open your mouth as wide as possible and make all kinds of movements with your face without noticing it, that is vital.
I appreciate that contribution. Whether one likes it pointing upward or hanging down is a preference. I actually like the "horsetail" look. And on a purely practical level, my beard flares out on my cheeks, so growing it out enough to allow a lower placement would make me look something like a walrus. But I'm going to keep working with my barbers, because I would like to try! Skál!
