@@PedalingDave oh mate you have to get one if you dig spank gear! Got one on my gt and saving up for one for the capra. Damps the vibration and is super light!
It surprises me that you do not mention putting any kind of grease on the bushing ? Generaly mechanic rule is that one should never ever run any kind of bushing dry, unless this is some kind of teflon bushing.
Very good point and generally I do agree, but it's not a necessity in every application. I've replaced the bushings on these pedals once in three years and never suffered from any noise or premature wear. Some bushings have a natural occurring lubrication from friction (which I doubt these have actually, but who knows) and some bushing materials break down with the use of a grease... Regardless, I have not suffered any issues with these pedals personally.
