This all depends on the scope of the question. I can connect to phones via USB cable and push audio out to the phones to capture in video or voice note or to discord or something like that. I can bring audio back into the RCP from the phone if I’m using it to play music or whatever. BUT you can’t record phone calls via USB with iOS so if you’re thinking can you have 2 phones for the purpose of having 2 phone calls at the same time, you CANNOT do that via USB. But you could have your 3 way call and then pump that in via Bluetooth if that’s what you’re asking

Hey man, really appreciate your videos. Is there any way you could make a tutorial for how to use the Rodecaster Pro 2 with Twitter Spaces? They've been growing rapidly in popularity as a medium for people to host regular live shows, podcasts, etc., but unfortunately you can only run them on an iPhone (there's no PC compatible hosting option). Obviously it would be really nice to be able to use my Shure-SM7B for recording audio vs. the standard iPhone mic, as well as all of the other benefits using a rodecaster provides. Majority of people I know use the Rodecaster Pro 1, because it's so much simpler connecting the iPhone w/ the audio jack. I've attempted using the RCP2 for spaces with the SC-15, and I was able to get audio back into the headset connected to the RC, but the audio the audience / other listeners in the space heard back from me was awful (which shouldn't be the case for the SM7B). I've asked my Twitter following (which is up to nearly 600,000) and zero people have been able to give me a clear and easy answer for how to make the RCP2 work with spaces. If you could figure this out and make an easy to follow tutorial for it, you wouldn't just be my hero, you'd be helping out a massive community of users that feels stuck in the same spot. If you have the iPhone 15, then that's USB C! So you'll need the Rode SC16 or SC17. Anything before then still uses the Lightning port, so you'll need a Rode SC15 or SC19. Remember, though, you cannot record phone calls with iPhone via the cable. You have to do it over Bluetooth!

I can confirm that this works with the iPad Pro and the Charging cable that comes with the iPad Pro 11 inch 2nd gen. Dope video also bro! I was looking for a way to do this without using bluetooth! its a waaaaayyyyyyy cleaner sound! Thank you!! Also... you can use the cable that comes with the Rodecaster Pro 2 and use another usb-c cable to run to your computer if you just wanna use the iPad as a music source.
You should be able to record directly on the phone. Or use something like the Rode Capture App or Blackmagic Camera App so you can select the Audio device you want to use.
Yup! I use it all the time! iPhone and RCP2 and you can make magic. You can go straight into Facebook, TH-cam or IG or you can use your iPhone like I do as a continuity camera with my Mac Mini or MacBook Pro

Yes, you can connect the NTH-100M to the RØDECaster Pro II using the included splitter cable and a 3.5mm to XLR adaptor that converts phantom power to plug in power, such as the VXLR Pro or VXLR+. Plug the end of the splitter cable with the microphone symbol into the VXLR Pro, then connect this to any of the RØDECaster Pro II’s XLR inputs and ensure phantom power is turned on for that channel. The caller I am speaking to is getting a full volume repeat of everything she says on here end - whether using AirPods, Speaker, etc. She hears me fine from the RC pro 2 and I get a clean recording signal from her. But she get's a full volume echo of everything SHE says - not me (the host). She hears me fine. Anyone have any idea what's going on on her end to cause this? Mix minus is set on the bluetooth channel of the RCP2.

Your video on connecting the Rode Videomic II to your iPhone set me back over $50 big ones on cables from B&H! Yo! And you're right, a "regular" USB/Lightning cable won't work. I suspect they've made their cables sorta like a "null modem" cable with some pin/wiring swaps.

You can't record phone calls with the cables. You can only record phone calls over Bluetooth. It's an iOS issue, NOT Rode!

You can use the TRRS port on the original RCP. The reason I had to make this video is because they took that port away.

So you're running the RCP2 into your iPhone using the SC-15 Cable? What is the headset for?
And for iPhone 15 the cable is SC16 and SC17 ?

Yes. Connecting the phone directly ot the rodecaster prevents you having to sync anything in post.

Only USB-C two worked for me. I couldn’t get it. Worked with USB-C one.
