From Jamaica, it was so good seeing our national fruit being talked about. You got everything correct, but ackee poisoning rarely happens cause getting the poison parts out is pretty easier than people think. Just wait until the fruit open naturally, remove the seed (any black parts) and remove the pinkish part in the middle and wash the yellow part, n cook in hot water until soften. Drain and saute with red n green onions and salted cod fish, black pepper. Bon appetite.

My husband and I got married in Jamaica. We got to eat Jamaica's traditional dish. It was delicious! But definitely learned to respect the Scotch bonnet! We have some Jamaican friends who explained what ackee was and how they prepare it etc. Definitely interesting and loved learning about the history and culture.

He's probably referring to Propylene glycol being in some if not all store bought ice creams. It's also in the anti freeze you put in your vehicle. They replaced the main ingredient in anti freeze with propylene glycol so if your pet or kids drink the stuff they have a better chance of surviving. Most of this video was completely over dramatized.

Probably from the high citric acid content in them, prolonged bathing in such acid would easily erode the top layers of skin in a part of the body that produces new skin cells constantly do to the bacteria and such in our mouths, I wouldn't recommend doing that too often, the same stuff that killed the skin cells, would also pretty easily erode tooth enamel as well.

NB: we use the green/unripe ackee to get rid of ringworm.
Instructions: 1) Cut the unripe fruit. 2) Apply the inner layer of the ackee skin to the affected area. 3) Repeat the process.

I used to work in a candy shop and we had kids coming in and buying one of every of our most sour candies for some kind of internet challenge. I felt obligated to inform these kids and/or the parents of the possibility of burns from too much exposure to the sour crystals. Some blew me off and some appreciated the warning but, given how I’ve heard multiple stories about sour candies burning holes in tongues or the roof of the mouth, I wanted to make sure people were aware and the store’s ass was covered.

I've worked in the dairy industry for years and know that in the UK milk is scored known as the "bactoscan" the lower the number the better, 0 to low teens is fine. Although 0 is a myth. It's really tasty and highly nutritious. Being natural it will contain some amounts of bacteria but not necessarily bad. There are also other things to worry about like, oil, chemicals, and parasites. But a good farm knows how to get the best milk. It amazes me how much the taste changes when I get from the shops than the bulk tank 👌 support farmers 👍

Is there no end to the levels of cruelty of which people are capable? I broke down in tears to see an octopus being tortured, the level of gaiety in the narrator's tone made it even more macabre. These animals are sophisticated and intelligent, more than I can say for most people. It will not be a terrible thing when we wipe ourselves out, I just hope that we leave enough left to allow as many plants and animals to survive as possible before we go.

(11:29) Here in my country, Brazil, where it came from actually, it's called Mandioca and largely eaten all around the country. It originates from Amazonia rain forest, and the natives know how to cooked it for centuries. It can b eaten boiled like a soup, fried like potatoes, can be turned into flour and used in recipes or just seasoned and mixed into food to eat, their starch can be made into Tapioca that is a type of crepe. It's very taste and very versatile.

Ok, so Warheads were developed in the 90s for people who love sour stuff. I used to eat them until I had lacerations in my tongue all the time. That was usually about 6 of the things. They are round candies that kind of look like a butterscotch disc but filled in. It is made with a LOT of its sour ingredient, which is literally an excess of CITRIC ACID. Found in small amounts in fruits, it is an acid. It breaks down solids in high concentrations. So, there is a good chance this kid ate a piece of acidic fruit, drank a soda, or had another one of these or similar before eating this.

Thank you brother Corey for your teaching about "Eternal Security" or "Once Saved, Always Saved". I used to believe you could lose your salvation, so always doubted that I would ever go to heaven, as I was not righteous enough. Even though I was raised in a "Christian" home, my father was an abusive alcoholic and my mother was verbally abusive towards me, possibly because she took out her frustration with my father on me. Was always told I was stupid and she favored my sister over me, even though she expected more from me than her, me being the oldest. To make matters worse, because of my low self worth, I was ostracized by my peers at school, so hated my grade school years and was thankful once I went to college.
One day in my morning physics class, I asked God three things (I mouthed what I was thinking but didn't talk loud enough for everyone to hear since I was in class). I had been going to church with my family all my life and was a member of both the junior and senior choirs but doubt was making me wonder if God was even real, and if my going to church was an exercise in futility. I asked God how He could exist an eternity before creation and exist forevermore. Second, how He created everything from nothing. Third, if the dust covered black KJV Bible sitting on the bookshelf was His true inspired word to man, and that I should read it. I added that if I didn't get an answer, would assume He wasn't real, and would stop attending church.
No sooner had I asked the questions, a blinding light and an answer that has kept me believing in God the last 50 years. The answer He gave to my third question I can share. YES. The Bible we have today is truly God's Word to man and must be read to find out what God's will to be accomplished in our lives is. The answers to the first and second revealed the mind and very nature of God in a way I could understand, and showed clearly that He is an eternal Spirit, without beginning or end, and that all of Creation is an extension of His glory and power. "In Him we live and move and have our being." If you want to know the answers God have me to my first two questions, just ask Him. If He answered a man who did not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, but seeking the Truth, I am sure He will answer you too.
I actually began reading God's word after He answered me and was a Jew for awhile even observing the Passover, but didn't like the taste of lamb, too woolly for my taste. (I did not know who Jesus was, even though I sang Handel's' Messiah, the truth evaded me). Received a tract called the "4 Spiritual Laws" which whetted my appetite to know more, so actually went to a Full Gospel Bible College at the age of 23. It was there I got a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, but because of my inferiority complex and self-loathing, was never sure of my salvation. It wasn't until I got Covid and almost died from it 2 years ago, that I began watching Corey's show, as well as others of the same vein. Understanding that God is able to keep whom He has chosen, has been so liberating. I used to be addicted to porn, but once I accepted Jesus redemption plan, realizing that it is not my righteousness but His that saves me, I gave my life fully to Him and haven't watched porn in over a year, nor have the craving for it I once had. God has set me free from sin and it's cravings. This is not to say that I don't slip up and may say a cruel word in anger, but know He will forgive me and help me overcome my sins, if we sincerely repent. It is not our good works that save us, but Him working in and through us that brings us unto salvation. Again...thanks Corey. 😊

I'm Icelandic and laughed out loud when hákarl popped up XD Hákarl actually just means shark, the full name of the 'delicacy' is kæstur hákarl, with the former word being the type of fermentation that happens to it when buried.
It does smell absolutely awful, along with kæst skata (fermented skate/manta ray)

Your comment on antifreeze in ice-cream is incorrect, in that it is not the same chemical that is in cars. Cars use ethylene glycol with can certainly be deadly to humans. However the "antifreeze" used in food industry is propylene glycol and is considered generally safe for human consumption. Its in many products and called out in the ingredient list as propylene glycol.
