Cine superstar Shah Rukh Khan graced with his presence the awards ceremony for the Satyamev Jayate Water Cup 2017 at the Balewadi stadium in Pune on 6th August. He was standing in for Aamir Khan, Paani Foundation's co-founder, who was unwell.
Shah Rukh spent almost an entire day for this event and offered words of great encouragement to many. We bring you a video of Shah Rukh delivering a speech in typical 'King Khan' style (in Hindi), and we are sure you will enjoy it. Here is a bit of what he said, just to whet your appetite!
“No matter how grand the idea is, it amounts to nothing if people do not get behind it. If you farmer brothers and sisters had not contributed your efforts to make this idea (drought eradication) a reality, it would never have taken off the way it has. I also appreciate the efforts that you make in growing grain, but sometimes God or Allah or nature does not grant you the thing that you need most, which is ample rainfall. But today you have proved that you can raise a crop of water itself (through watershed development). Moreover, you have come together despite being of various castes, creeds and beliefs, thus proving that India is united.”

I am not only a fan of actor SRK but I am also a fan of real life SRK. He is one celebrity who can talk on any issue effectively, his views are always practical, apolitical and easy to understand, but presented in great vocal skills. After following his more than 40-50 interviews, I can firmly say that he deserves to be number 1 superstar of our country. He is mesmerizing and self confident person. He is not here to degrade any other actor, but he is here to show how lovely a superstar can treat his fans or haters. He always makes fun of his failure on public platform with grace which shows that people's hatred don't count for him and he deals with it in a sporting way and with composure. Nothing against other actors, but for me he is inches ahead of any other superstar or actor of our country. Love you to the moon and back.

Bahut se logon ne comment mein yeh likha hai k Amir Khan se Srk ko seekh leni chahiye ....toh woh log yeh jaan lein k.....SRK is the most charitable actor of India...he has adopted 12 villages and has done immense amount of charity work through Make a wish foundation for kids and immensely been supporting the education of children and treatment of cancer patients and has been doing it for decades now . He is the only actor to be felicitated by the UNESCO and World Economic Forum.Besides he has been supporting Acid attack victims though his Meer Foundation. Has always supported in times of natural calamities and has made contribution for the Indian Army as well.
He too has been doing it decades for the people of his country, where some people try to remind him of what xyz is doing and not acknowledging that he has been doing a lot of work already.
