Good point. The Belle Tout lighthouse was built earlier on the cliff top, but there was a problem with fog obscuring the light. I don't know why it's the case, but they decided that sea level is a better location for a lighthouse.

It is saddening that you don’t feel able to use the imperial measurements with which this lighthouse was built but insist upon converting them to metric units that even now few understand and many - certainly most people that I know - absolutely reject out of hand. Britain’s official measurement system is still imperial. Metric units have never been lawfully introduced into Britain but installed illicitly by politicians on pain of imprisonment for those companies that do not comply. Yet intriguingly, you use Sterling which is Britain’s official currency. It would seem that upon being put off with your use of metric measurement, many will not bother to watch further films in this series.
