I went to Synthfest, but I have only just discovered your channel and wasn't aware you were there. Maybe next year I could meet with you. Was a good day.
Your thoughts on the difference between Bristronica and Synthfest are interesting Robin 😊, I’d like to find out if there are any quiet zones at the Bristol event? Such areas can help to manage sensory overwhelm.
bit trippy and panning very fast - you'll get used to it. There is a guy called Gaston Marrota who uses a 360 camera for walks around places in Spain - see how he does it - much easier on the vision th-cam.com/users/results?search_query=gaston+marotta. I was a bit disappointed by Synthfest this year - no Roland (so no Gaia 2 to look at), but thought the first two lectures were excellent. The Theremin demo was fantastic - by using a looper the presenters were able to construct some terrific performances, its far more versatile than I would have imagined. The other one about the DX to the Motif was interesting too - although the performance for creating a piano - which sounded authentic did feel a bit like an atom bomb to crack a nut (when sampling would have been much simpler). You are right Synthfest is a bit more laid back and could be improved through some performances.
I’m finding nearly all tips and tricks about 360 involve the great outdoors and/or lots of action - there’s precious little about shooting products or show indoors in and around people.
Fantastic video of Synthfest 2023 - really captures the atmosphere and synths! Many thanks for dropping by at AMSynths, great to meet up and chat!
Yeah, nice one :D

Thanks for this. Another nice Robin ramble. Looking forward to the 360 views of your shirts in future videos.
I love the wonky aspect thing :)
Also love seeing you be a dad.
Good to meet you there !

The seminars are quiet areas and very nicely lit and there's some outside space where you can escape. It's not crowded as such, just very upbeat.
@@MoltenMusicTech sounds manageable!
All hail lord of modular! LOL
So glad he graces us with his glory. Hahahha iventor of modular. Wow!
Mmm…made me feel a bit sick after a bit, great footage though, certainly captured the feel 😊
Cool!
Sorry, didn’t realise you were filming, I thought you were checking your phone!
360-degree cameras are at their best when actually creating 360-degree videos. Not so much when using them as a regular camera. M2P.
Trust @nativeVS to be drawn to the Buchla stuff 😅
I had no idea you were so tall

I prefer having no performances, I don’t watch live music as I tend to get envious of other musicians.
So many keysteps in one place! Good thing they can’t attain critical mass.
Would it have made sense to stop and talk to some of the people and show off their gear....I'm interested.
Sure, Sonic State has that covered. I don’t want to “work” the show making videos, I want to enjoy it 😁
